Whoa, I just realized I haven't blogged yet today. o_o School is going okay. I figured out the rest of my genetics lab today, so I have 0 work again! *^_^* Life is *so* much easier without chemistry and calculus. I'm not taking a writing class, so no papers either! Woo. I've been bumbling away on my Sana shrine, and it's nearly done! I just have a few more sections to write. To think I almost scrapped the whole thing.. @.@; Tomorrow is an 8:30 class day. Yuck. >(
Prime is now showing old eps of MASH. I had forgotten how good the old eps were. That's some funny stuff. *__* Cheesy, but hilarious. And Frank Burns! I can't get enough of him, for some strange reason. ^^; He's hilarious. Larry Linville = a good actor. And Houlihan, boy did she change. :O WOO MASH!

I'm in a completely rotten mood for incredibly stupid reasons. What's my problem? Thousands of people are dead and I'm upset over virtually nothing. Bleh.

Fuck fuck FUCK.

Ah, my web has finally decided to start working again. Today is a lazy day. I slept really late, attempted some of my genetics lab, and then sat and chatted with the bunbuns. I'm supposed to bring my resume to co-op tomorrow, but I can't find it anywhere on the computer. :/ I'm too lazy to make a new one. Brrr. It's really chilly today. Now I know summer is over. :( I really need to think of a subdomain, so Sami can host my blog. I don't want to be at geocities forever. ._.;

I'm very very tired. And cold. And achy. Snow Jam was decent enough. I mean, I got in for free and all. I saw Treble Charger and Sloan. Didn't pay much attention to the other crapass bands that were there. I won't be going back tomorrow. Shawn was having a party after, so we went for a bit. I didn't stay for long because amy was tired and she was my drive. Plus I forgot my damn liquor at home. It's just as well. I feel really beat now. I spent too long sitting on the cold ground. What the hell?! Is that a fly in my drink? YUCK. It's best of Molly Shannon again on SNL.. didn't I just watch this? Today is the first day I haven't watched the news.

My life seems to be getting back to "normal". This makes me feel guilty whenever I think of all those poor people whose lives will never be "normal" again because of what has happened. I only hope that life will become a little bit easier for this people as time passes.
I did end up going out last night. I mean, Amy's home so I should at least make an effort. I had a good time. We went to see Joel Plaskett play again. He's really good. :O And it seems that I will be going to Snow Job/Jam/whatever it is today, because Amy had an extra ticket. Nice of her to give it to me. :) So.. I'm busy. It's a welcome distraction. I have to be going now - I'd rather not go to Snow jam in my pajamas. xo

I'm winding down a bit. Trying to get on with things. Chatting with everyone last night was really a welcome distraction. I have a bit of school work to do this weekend. Amy is coming home for Snow Job. I don't think I'm going to go, because I really don't care at this point. I might go out with them tonight if I can get rid of this headache. Bleh.

It feels like I'm living in two different worlds. I go to school, take notes, think about my classes, talk to people, and worry about school work. Then I come home and turn on the news and everything is completely different. School becomes completely trivial and the world we're living in seems unreal.

SHIT. Holy shit. Over *30 000* casualties. In Manhattan alone. This is completely unreal.

I think everyone out there will agree that today was a better day. I don't think anything can really compare with yesterday. It's so strange. Even up here in Nova Scotia we're feeling the effects of what happened. My brother's school (my old hs) was closed to house some of the stranded travelers who were forced to land here. It was so weird to walk by and see all of those people. They're now saying that some of the terrorists may even have entered the US from Nova Scotia (through the ferry to Maine). It's unbelievable. I really don't agree with the point of view that it is Canada's fault the terrorists got into the US. And now they're talking about cracking down on Canada's immigration laws. Yes, it will prevent more terrorists from entering the country, but what about all of the refugees who arrive in Canada everyday, trying to escape their war-torn countries. Where will these people go? Refugees land here in Halifax *all* the time. I can understand how this situation is going to be a very difficult one to find a solution to.

Jennifer is now in the military. As is Cheryl's brother. You know, you never even think of the possibility that they might actually go to war. I can't believe how different the world is tonight than it was this morning. To think I was dozing off in oceanography and learning about fool's gold in geology while all of those people were dying. Good night, all. Let's hope tomorrow is a brighter day than today.

The world is one fucked up place. I finally saw some footage of the WTC collapsing. They showed an interview with a lady who was just outside the buildings when it happened. She was so upset. Frantic. I think that made it real for me. Those poor people who were jumping out the windows of a 100 story building. I keep thinking about the passengers on the planes. Imagine what they must have been feeling? There were probably children on those planes. Innocent children!
My mom was supposed to go to New York next week with a friend. A little while ago I saw on the news that the hotel she was supposed to stay in is on the verge of collapse. My mom. She could have been there. I love my mom more than anyone else in the world. And the thought that I might have lost her frightens me more than anything in the world.

I read this in someone's blog: "We need to get back at the Palestinians! I don't care how many lives we take..look how many they took of ours...all I can say is we should attack them before any of those people get to strike again. God, just nuke Palestine or whatever!" I can't even begin to respond to this. Yes, the fact that Palestine is celebrating is downright disgusting, but so is this post! What about all of the *innocent* people living there in Palestine? "I don't care how many lives we take" What the hell is that? God. What about all of those innocent people? Children? Do they deserve to die because of this? I know none of the people who were killed today deserved to die either. But.. oh, fuck. I can't write. This post is completely inarticulate, but I'm just so angry about that comment. I can't think straight.

I'd like to talk to you guys.. Sami, Jamie, Johnny.. and everyone else. But I really have nothing to say. I just hope that you and your loved ones are all okay. Please take care.

Trapper entered the wired at 7:22 PM

God, what can I write? I'm just in a state of disbelief. I don't know what to think. Nothing I can write right now seems important. Everything else just seems trivial. I feel like I should be doing something, instead of watching the news and writing in my blog.. but what can I do? God. I'm just sitting in my earth science class. A girl's phone rings and moment later she announces what happened. I just can't believe it. I immediately had the overwhelming urge to find someone I knew. I even wandered around the chemistry building for a while in hopes that I might run into Cheryl. I called my mom. I didn't know what to say, but I called her. Classes carried on as usual, because the professors were in absolute disbelief and didn't know what else to do.

"President Bush should nuke every terrorist state in the world." How idiotic. That is the kind of thinking that is only going to get more innocent people killed. How can people be so completely and utterly stupid? I can't write anything else. It doesn't seem to matter. My prayers are with everyone in America.
