 Yesterday I went to Barnes & Noble and bought “Bird by Bird” by Anne Lamott and I bought a map of San Francisco. I figure if I’m moving there I ought to know my way around. I also bought some pretty MAC lipglass called Oh Baby. It was more than I wanted to pay but the salesgirl was really cool, so I bought it. I got my hair cut today. Yankees won game one of the world series tonight. The game was about 5 freakin' hours long. I really should get to bed.

Wednesday, October 18
 I’m embarrassed to admit that my dinner last night consisted of half a jar of Clausen dill pickles, a small bag of Doritos and about 2 cups of mini marshmallows. I got home at 9:30 and I was tired and lazy. There was tuna fish in the fridge but the last 4 pieces of bread had the slightest hint of green fuzz on the edges so I chucked the bread and just picked at whatever I could eat without having to cook or clean up a mess.

Sunday, October 15
 Brian and I have been working very hard on our joint diary page. It still needs lots of work though. He's great with stuff like making frames for the page to split and I'm the one with the creative eye for colors and design. It's a fun project but I'm wondering if once we are through with it if we will even use it much. I hope so. I guess the trendy thing is to not use any capitalization when you type in your diary (most people use all lower case) and I tried doing that, as you can tell from my first several posts, but it's just a pain in the ass and it's just natural for me to capitilize I. So hensforth I will be capitalizing and using correct punctuation. Being trendy is overrated.

 i got the cutest email from brian praising me for all the hard work i've been doing. he had a cool idea of making a page together. he writes

"Maybe we can pool my technical skills and your designing and make something super duper, like a marriage website with a relationship diary where it lists both of our days and our perspective on marriage and what we liked about the other person that day or something, do you see many joint diary pages, where two people combine to form one diary?"

i haven't ever seen that before, he may be on to something. i can't quite figure out how to combine that onto one page but it's been reeling through my mind. i made him his very own online diary page. only i know he wouldn't use it as a diary knowing i have access to it but i thought it could be the way to leave love notes in the year 2000. ha. i wonder if he'll like the idea or if he'll even use it. he doesn't get as obsessive like me about stuff like that. maybe cuz i'm a chick. who knows. anyway, it's 1:41 am and i've been sitting at my computer for hours on end and i'm tired and i have a kink in my neck. it was a pretty uneventful day for a friday the 13th. *yawn* well, i'm going to call it a day and hit the hey. (heh, that rhymed)

Friday, October 13
 i've been giving my website a face lift...chaning colors, fonts, and everything. i've been working on it for hours and for no apparant reason it suddenly went on the fritz. i tried to restart it and it said "cmos settings wrong". huh? it was all jacked up. i called my cousin kyle and he walked me through the steps on what settings to change and it worked! yay! as far as i'm concerened kyle is a computer genius...every time mine does something funky i call kyle and then it's all fixed. whew, i feel better now.
