bah. so class got out just a tad before 10 tonight. i didn't get home till 11:50. and no, i did not stop off at any watering holes on the way home. it amazes me at the lack of intelligence of the florida department of transportation. they took 4 lanes of i-95 down to 1 lane in order to setup concrete barriers for construction when they could have very well only closed one lane. so it took 50 minutes to go 3 miles... morons.

okay as most of you know i run a somewhat pg rated blog because of the range of people viewing it. however, for this one time i am breaking that little rule and linking to a picture i recieved via e-mail (thanks jensen). don't click the link if you intend on saying something to me about it. this is, however, the best picture i have been sent since last tuesday's events. so click here if you want.

wowie wow wow wow wowie! man i don't know what the heck the put in that paint that taj is using on the floor but the whole house smells like an ether manufacturing plant. my eyes are burning and watering, my throat is soar and my nose tingles. this is some nasty stuff. the can says use in a well-ventilated area and that the contents are flammable and explosive. gee, ya think??

ahhhhh yes. another beautiful day. after having a hurricane brush by and take out the sun and fun for a week it sure is nice to have that big fireball back in the clear blue sky. the painter can finally finish the garage (read: paint the floor) and i will be abale to once again park inside within a week. now all i have to do is pick up runners. yeah, who'd have thought i would ever put carpet in my garage. on saturday night i went with ramie to rooney's pub in abacoa. when we got there i felt like it was a lunch meeting at the ebassy suites. everyone was there that i have and do work with. kinda wierd. anyway it was a good time, aside from one minor altercation that most likely could have landed me in jail had i responded like just about anyone else in the situation. not going to go into details cause you never know.

yeah, school is really in session now. just wrote my first paper of the semester. bah. after that i got to see boiler room. it was pretty good i must say. it all starts again tomorrow. on the other hand i suppose it never really stopped.

sometimes i pose a rediculously silly question. if you stand on your head and look through the upside down viewfinder of a camera will things be right side up? this was one of those times.

spent this evening hooking up mike's home theater system... or rather what he has of it. got the front speakers and center channel positioned nicely i think. man those speakers sound amazing. then again i suppose they should since it cost more for the equipment than most people spend on a car... possibly even their first home.

oh m-13? that is one of my favorites! hehe. up until tonight i regularly am exposed to computer geeks, me being one of them. however, this was my first encounter with a telescope geek. very amusing.

so tonight i took clay's girlfriend out. yeah, seems like an odd statement eh? he had to go into work around ten o'clock to launch a site and i thought she might want to get out of the house for a while. i took her to see the laser show at the south florida science center. every friday at 10 they do pink flloyd's dark side of the moon to a really cool laser, light, and star show in the planetarium. always a good time.

i have spent the greater part of today working on a new web site project. it is for a new health care organization in pennsylvania. things are coming together well for it. some of you have seen the map i made of pennsylvania for it. i am now waiting on copy for the body of the pgaes before i can proceed any further. so that was a nice way to spend this friday. . . was a good thing to concentrate on and keep my mind from wandering. i do believe it is time to find some dinner.

i watched the movie 15 minutes earlier tonight. it was decent. though the beginning was a bit rough. i didn't know it took place in nyc. those of you that have seen it should know what i mean. for those of you who have not seen it... it is an arial shot of manhattan. so yeah, it caught me off gaurd.
