Nicole's Karaoke Party

Well, I thought I'd never sing karaoke before but on Saturday I went down to Sunnyvale or Santa Clara or one of those places south of SF to join the festivities at my friend Nicole's birthday party.

Rant

On Monday I try to start the week off right by wearing my favorite Chelsea kit (or soccer jersey, whatever). When I got to the garage I was shocked to find that some f@!#$ had broken into my car by smashing the rear passenger window (driver's side). In the @#$%@ garage!!! The garage guys said I was the 3rd person to report something. That crack team of crimefighters should have checked the whole fifth floor at the first compaint notice. The worst part was when I was getting the window fixed the glass guy wanted me to explain why I had that shirt on when he was going to fix my car and then wondered aloud if I worked for a competitor or something. For those of you who don't quite get the irony of the Chelsea kit, see this picture.

Movie Night Update!!

This just in- so my friend Sabeen who was not feeling 100% that night thought she had a stomach ache as she sat and watched Ricky do his damage. But as the night wore on her stomach felt worse than that dude's head that Taizan is smashing (see graphic below. The next morning she went to the hospital and had her APPENDIX REMOVED! That's right- Movie Night's first casualty!!

Movie Night was a smash!!!

Movie Night was a smash hit! Thanks to all that showed up and endured sitting on the floor and/or in uncomfortable chairs. I hope you enjoyed the experience. Of course those who showed up are now initiated and will be invited to all future (and extremely exclusive) Movie Night Events at the Kman Apartment of Fun.

The The Story of Ricky was an amazing movie and I'm glad I was able to watch it for the first time with a cool group of people. This movie led us on surprising turns every five minutes. I highly recommend it to all.

I'm working again

Yes, I found a job. I'm working over at Nolo Press doing ecommerce and network stuff. I'm almost finished w/ week 1. Now that I'm back at work, I'll be able to re-tool this website and get it more swanky swanky.

Job update coming soon

At least I hope so. I should know something more this week about my job situation. I'm on the verge of accepting an offer and I'm just waiting for some email/faxes before I sign on the bottom line.
I was about to write more about that subject, but I realized that potential employers might have found this site. I'll refrain for updating too much until after it happens.

Sorry I haven't updated in a bit. I've been really busy looking for work and trying to decide whether or not to pack up and move back to SA. I've had a few phone interviews this week and a few in person interviews. Slow going though.

I've also been goofing off learning asp, php and re-learning some c. Not that you could tell by looking at this site. So, anyway, drop me a line and I'll try to tell you a cool story. Maybe.
