Heh heh. A whole bunch of pages on this site should now validate. Validation is a good start toward having pages that work as we hope they should, so it's important to anyone building web sites for anyone else (if you're wondering).
In other news, all the links to parts of the site now work. Many of them are going to make Netscape 4 and IE4 cry because the won't have much in the way of appearance. I highly, highly recommend to anyone using either of those browsers that you upgrade to a newer browser. That doesn't mean one with a thousand bells and whistles or that is a 30MB download. There are lean, mean options that are newer and simply better. Check it out.
Also, I've changed the photos section to a database-driven, dynamically generated love-fest. A few hours work, and I can serve as many photos as I want from one document. Yes.
Changes to the site are everywhere. Hopefully everything that's supposed to be here somewhere is. Let me know if you find mistakes or missing pieces.
And let's not forget to throw in something really funny to look at.

None of the links on the left works right now... heh heh heh. I'm upgrading this whole site to a new method of doing things. You can read about why I'm doing it in this document-in-progress.
The two things that do exist here are the software page and the bboard.

Reason #3578 that I'm glad to have subscribed to design magazines. I get junk mail, but it's from places like this. Very entertaining.

One of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century died last night in Pittsburgh. He and Alan Newell created the first problem solving computer in the 50s, and Herb spent the next fifty years in the field of cognitive science, researching and teaching. And he won a Nobel prize for economics at some point in there. He was a giant. I took a course with him as a junior, and it saddens me to hear that he died.

How many more reasons do we need to believe that WalMart is evil?
