Well as you can see from my complaining I'm loosing my dsl service and needed to find something new. I checked out ameritech and they said I'm 50 feet too far from the co. Then I looked into EarthlinkDSL and they use covad then I heard covad has now filed bankruptcey also, earthlink told me yes I can get dsl but it will be 6-8 weeks for installation.
I just called my cable company this afternoon and they will have my @home broadband service installed on monday afternoon for only $19.95 a month for the first six months and NO contract.

It is just me !!!!!

It was just me. I had some add fields in my database that screwed thing up. I have now updated my different sites to use Nuke 5.2 and it does seem OK. I will be adding some mods and addons soon so time will tell.

I never did get a chance to try out post-nuke, who knows if I ever will.

No updates for awhile.

There will be no updates for awhile, I have to find a new dsl service. Telocity now Direct TV DSL (it still sucks) gave ma an email that said sorry Rhythm went bankrupt so you are out of luck. It looks like it will be ATT Broadband @home for me.

I will continue to work on the fmII theme (as you can see). I am also about 50% done with another "Tribute to a site" theme.

Is it just me or is the php-nuke releases getting worse? I tested the new 5.2 on a development server of mine, it was a clean install of nuke not an upgrade and it was full or errors and bug from the start.
Whats the deal? I think I'm going to try out postnuke and see how well it works.

I HATE direct tv dsl aka Telocity.

Well it looks like my dsl service is going to die in about a week and ahalf. I was emailed to an address I never really check from my dsl provider basically saying sorry Rhythms went out of business and your out of luck.

Now I have to scramble to find new service that will give me a static IP so I can get Ians Planet, SamuraiSunday, and MonkeyNovel back online.

As I said I finally restored to nuke 5.0.1 and I have made changes/updates to the fmII theme which is now version 1.3

Thanks Paul for pointing out the .osdn_banner issue by fixing that I was able to track down the black backgrounding problem with netscape 4.7.x

Let the bug reports keep comming in. The only way to make this better is to break it first.

Goto the downloads section to get the newest fmII v1.3

I've gone back to Nuke 5.0.1

What a freakin nightmare that was. :S

As you can see the fmII theme is html compliant, it was nuke 5.1 that was not.

Well after abit of frustration yesterday I was able to get php-nuke5.1 fixed and working. I have also made alot of changes to the fmII-5x theme and I will be renaming it to just fmII and it is now version 1.2
Thanks to Paul over at http://wapdomainz.com for all the help and ideas.

fmII is now html 4.01 complaint and css2 compliat as well. You can execute php code in the blocks also.
If you have any ideas to add to fix the theme please let me know.

I see you kept greeting to our newest user .. I like this feature .. I also like lastseen .. if you want to put this on your site let me know and I will send you the last seen file, as seen on wapdomainz.com ..... also I put leftbox() on all pages .. but you need to edit download.php and remove $index=1 ... this is why the rightbox() is loading in download.php

Also you may notice .. when logged on as admin there is a link at the top in "hardcoded NAV" called administration :-D .. not hard but its small things like this that make a good site :-)

I am working on a shop to plugin to nuke ... let you know when it happens :-)
