Drifting over Mt. Hood at midnight...clouds hovering in the vast expanse. Gentle rain. My cedar flute swirling MY love song, knee on the wheel, peaceful. Star-guided journey. Bed. Levity. Sleep, like a cloud. Buoyant in the moonlight. Home. Om.

Feeling oddly, deliciously intoxicated after having shared an evening in the presence of a new-old friend. Fact: The number 8 is most definitely a brown number. I shared something, discovered this fact of myself which I have not ever expressed. Living outside of my costume, hovering just near by. Fingers wrapped around, moved on the strings of his guitar. very gentle. very sexy. If I were a guitar, I would hope to be held with that same comfortable, confident embrace. Just resting there, in the warm lap of someone waiting, wanting to hear my song. A soft quiet music, swirling in the water. Warm. In the warmest place.

Today is my sister's birthday. I get to share my life with my amazing son. It's his birthday in 2 days. I remember seeing his face for the very first time. I had a small success today. I managed to get my form to work. I said prayers...bodhisattva path. Heard Michael Stipe's voice, my heart cried because it is so beautiful. I think of my far off friends and wonder what each of them might be doing...thinking. In and out of another day. My mom thinks I'm cool. I want to be a rock star.

i slept, alone, dreaming of a sky raining daisies. white gerbera daisies, falling down on me. i used to dream of raining feathers. soft swirling kisses of tangerine and sea.
