This is hysterical. I personally agree with what he said. There IS very little originality out there. But, when I do find that site that just knocks my socks off, I'm very thankful that it includes links to "more of the same". I think the resulting outcry about a thoughtful criticism was way overblown, but honestly, the cameraderie and joking around that takes up a huge chunk of the end of that thread I truly enjoyed. And there were a lot of well thought out comments presented as well. Jason, my site sucks too...can I have a link? I know, not very original. Hey, my blog is new, and I'm looking to find a new neighborhood to roam out there in the wilds.

Yesterday was an amazing day. I had several revelations throughout the day,
and came to a few conclusions.
I watched The Green Mile last night. All I
knew about it was something about a prison guard, and I really didn't want to see it. But I
ended up loving it. This movie has helped me to put some of the events of the past weeks, what
am I saying, the past year or so, into much clearer perspective.
- Sometimes innocent people get accused and convicted of crimes based on "overwhelming
evidence". Problem is, the evidence, however compelling, simply points to the wrong conclusion.
- Sometimes defending oneself only results in remaining in an intolerable situation, where
fear, oppression and its consequences only serve to drain the spirit out of one.
- When in a situation where nearly everyone around you hates you, the heartfelt love and support
of a few can make all the difference in the world.
- It's time to move on, to a higher level.
I believe in miracles.
It is truly amazing what can be accomplished when people learn to share
and work together instead of hoarding their knowledge and ideas as if they lose something when others use
their ideas.
