The new design is alive and well and came later rather than sooner. It's kind of like all those people out there that need one more class to finish their degree: something besides three hours a week is holding them back. In this case, that's a good thing. An inspired, fresh sound will be emerging through the cracks in your bandwidth over the next several weeks. Three to five songs are in the running for a new demo, and at least one will feature a full band. Booking is taking place and you can expect 1-2 shows each and every week all summer long. What does this mean for the sound? New songs are less anxiety-driven, more elated, and generally less depressed. The addition of lead guitar, bass, drums, and keys on "Conveniently Nearby" has given it a facelift worthy of Liz Claiborne. More and more experience playing out has left the songs crisp and clean. Curious? Check out the road section in the next few weeks for info on upcoming shows. The new site couldn't be easier to navigate. For a bio, press, or pictures, check out "girl". For lyrics and links to MP3.com and other sites that feature me, point to "music". Finally, for show dates and info, check out "road". It's that easy. Hope the new site treats you well, and please email me with any suggestions, comments, or questions! I'll only be too eager to reply!
