Thanks again to all have written/called me these past few days. I've heard from people I haven't talked to in months and it's very reassuring to see that you all care.

I've now spoken to all of my friends in NYC and everybody is okay. What a relief. It's amazing how many people have emailed me or have called my parents to check on me. Most of them did not know that I was in Ohio and they all were relieved to know that I was not anywhere near the incident.

Just to let you all know... I'm still in Ohio and am just fine. I called my roommates and they are okay as well. I'm unable to call some of my friends since the phones are disabled including my cell. I'm still in shock about what's has happened this morning (photos, coverage). This is all just so unbelievable.
What really hits me about this is that I could see both towers of the World Trade Center from my apartment (map). I loved being able to look out my window and know that I actually lived here. I can't even begin to imagine what it was like or what it's going to be like when I get back. My original plan was to return this Sunday. I think I'll postpone the trip for a week, at least.

Even though it's already tomorrow in Austrailia, I still want to wish my brother Jeremy a happy birthday!

I'm still here in Ohio. So far so good. Going back home is always good, but knowing why you left is always the best part. I got to spend a good amount of time in Columbus last week with my family and friends. And I also got rid of some of my stuff in storage. Now that I'm back in Sandusky, I've been taking things easy, and grilling out every day. Mmmm bar-b-que...
For those who may know Ryan Arthur, this article in the Register may give you a good laugh. It's funny how this is news around here.

Yesterday on the subway...
4:00pm - Uptown F - 2nd Ave Once again the F train foils me. As soon as I get down to the platform, it leaves. The next one shows up over 10 minutes later. This is like the 5th time this has happened, but it's nice to see I'm not the only person who they're messing with.
4:30pm - Uptown N - 49th St A unsuspecting woman was waiting for the R train when suddenly a pigeon flys towards her and starts making a nest out of her hair. Obviously, she freaks out, as well as the people who are sitting next to her.
