Well Helloooo. How good it feels to finally get this out of my system. I have been blogged up for quite some time. Unlike young Billy who tends to clear his system with frightening frequency......more later.

Officer Bob well I guess it was bound to happen.....yes at last I was confronted with the flashing lights in the rear view mirror...and as a plus even managed to experience the "pull over" from the loud hailer............................hmmmmm mirrored sunnies and a smith &wesson.............93mph in a 65 zone...woops I am so sorry officer...... but the sadistic and sated look was wiped from the officers face once I pordcued my Australian license...he knew he had been foiled:) Actually he wasnt a bad bloke and wrote it down to 75mph and we discussed the various pros and cons of Glocks versus the S&W..........I think I should frame my first ticket here..............

QANTASQaint arse may now consider themselves shunned. When lowering flaps makes a sound like a mid-air collision you start to get a little worried. What with all the bad publicity around, I reckon there up for a big one. Apart from that they suck more in every department (except felatio at which they suck less!) and their arses were far from quaint! KB Add one Philip, a Gut, a Singlette and a pair of Thongs, mix in a can of KB and what do you get? A bunch of very scared ugly south coast locals!. Apart from pissheads on holiday wishing to scare the locals, who does drink KB?? Is it possible that the case purchased had been sitting in the cold room since 1980?
Lovely to see the booze budget well and truly out did the food budget. Not quite sure about the KB, but the rest of it was definitely very drinkable.
Insects I wonder if anybody has ever done a study into the habits of the Ulladulian Stripped Elephant Fly. Probably not, no-one has never wanted to get close to one. I guess we will have to begin documenting its characteristics. - It's fuck'n big - Is blind in its right eye and hence flys in tight clockwise circles - Has hydrolic landing gear - Would probably make a really big mess if anyone was game enough to touch one.
I can't believe I still have itchy mozzie bites. This has got to be a record. My feet look like red masses when I de-shoe at the end of the day.

Cooking Could someone throw out that Pepper that made its way on to everything... I think it's a bit long in the tooth ; )
Immigrants Aren't you glad that a boatload of Vietnamese immigrants did not come wandering through the bush. They would have honed in on us like we were long lost relatives..... Dak! Dak!

Another Day Another Million DollarsWell not quite a million but enough to keep us going for a while:). I must say I havent felt quite this good for some time, I am not sure whether it is exercising, not smoking, getting over the latest bout of whatever, or a combination of the lot, but the sun is shining and I am feeling well.
I fear I am gathering a small reputation in the valley. The nature of the business leads to constat dealing with Vc's (venture capitlaists for the unititiated) and a consatnt stream of off the cuff rejections. Perhaps unlike most other people I am not one to take an out of context rejection at face value and have been shooting off tones down vitriolic respenoses to some of the more lame rejectors. This has brought forth an unusual response in as much as I have had major partners ringing me back to explain the responses and cover thier asses in most cases! Funnily enough this has lead to far more fruitful dialogue and we are progresing with a number of them.......but I am still amazed how any of these guys made any money....sheer hit and miss in most cases.............it makes life interesting....I can just hear them....'gees there is this psychotic Australian running around the valley........you wouldnt believe what he said ..."...............LOL anyway it seems to be working ...........
Lovely day time for some work, we have a major presentation next week............I thought I was done with standing up in front of people talking :)

FriendsI was having a drink in another anonymous bar tonight and the subject, as it does, came up. The differential , I think , exists in shared intimate experience. Not intimate on any sexual level, but intimate, between yoursleves, whether that be 2 or more. And the experience is just that. Another drink, another game of pool, another party, they dont count.............being chased by by a security guard on drunken prank, talking about nothing that actually means something that is never mutually acknowledged but understood, helping for no other reason than you know they need something. There must be, at some stage, a mututal epihpany of some form and shape.
A friend is not someone you see every day, a friend is someone you see every day or one in 3 years and you are bound by the intimate experience or epiphany.....time and instance after the fact are irrelevent...an acquaitance...well thats obvious.......that is my latest take, for what it is worth...............................

One Week Well that would be a whole 7 days. I think my strategy will be to avoid huge consumption of alcohol, and definitely not with anyone that smokes. So who is going to give me odds? I was just trying to see if I could do a week. Now we will try for a fortnight...hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Wish me luck

Nothing Nothing of any great import to report, just thought I should blog something as I have been lacking in my posts of late. Had a very bizarre three way conversation with Ed and Bill last night, this trip down to the nether regions is going to be fuelled by nicotine, alcohol, and frustrated sexual urges, make for a very incendiary mix!
I hear that another friend has finally, and I mean like FINALLY, become engaged to his long suffering and superb girl. I am sure she finally put her foot down and I am glad it is now down. Another falls into the miasma of marriage family, a pickte fence, and shuttling the kids around:)........
Is it just me or does George W Bush look like the guy on the cover of Mad magazine? He is a very scary man.
The weather here is rather poor, overcast , rainy, and a bit cool, but not too bad during the day mainly at night. I would love to watch the semi between Agassi and rafter but it is a delayed broadast here so I will know the outcome before it is played, with a bit of luck rafter will win as the final is being played more or less live.
I have recovered from my various ills, the impacted/infected wisdom tooth was by far the worse but the drugs made up for it. The dentist gave me one set of pian killers, and then another set after the blood and gore section. Pain Killers number two were the closest thing to acid I have ever dropped, I honestly lost wo whole days. I am a bit disturbed by what I may have done/said over that period.......lol.......I am sure it will come home to roost.
And yes I am again trying to kick the evil nicotine habit but I am just surviving hour to hour, day to day, minute to minute. I have, thankfully, had a couple of drink in the last few days and survived, but tonight will be the true test of fortitiude. I am having a beer with a mate at what we term "the local". A delighful haunt in my days of nicotine, it is one of the rare pubs in SF that is more or less a normal bar with pool tables,AND they let you smoke....so tonight will be scary but I am gearing upfor the challenge, maybe I should O/D on Nicorettes before I go:) wish me luck.........6.5 days so far, but I seem mildly determined this time.
It is unusual how little you realise the pervasivness of smoking. It really does invade your life in every section, time for this "friend" that a) cost me money b) doesnt pay for drinks c) isnot accpeted in most congenial sections of society and all the other ills to be off my A list.........
Is that enough rambling yet? Oh another short note, thank god I had a friend to bring me back from the Dentists, the combination of Valium/Dex and everything else would have definitely lead me astray had I not had someone to guide me to my well worn couch:)...............................................
Be good, or if you cant be good stay out of trouble, I will do some more work on the pages in the next couple of days:)
Oh and I couldnt be bothered to check the spelling:)
