Yeah my site is back up at least for right now. I made a wallpaper last night and I thought I'd put it up here in case anyone would like to put it on their computer. I don't have much to say right now. Homework is calling me so I will try to write something later.

Well my site is still closed but I need to get some stuff off my chest. I haven't decided when to open the site back up. It doesn't matter right now though because blogger is being worked on and I can't publish any posts.

So much has happened this week, and it looks like we're on the verge of a big war. I am not sure what to say about the whole thing amd I don't want to repeat what so many others have already said. I needed a break yesterday so I watched part of The Mexican before we went to the game (I watched the rest of it today). It was a good movie. We went to the football game last night to try and get our minds off of everything for a few hours. It's hard seeing the footage over and over. Both of our teams won. At 7 o'clock we had 3 minutes of silence and at half time of the varsity game we sang God Bless America. It's really too bad that it took such a tragedy to pull this country together.

I started work this afternoon. It wasn't real work though, just an orientation from 4:30 to 8:30. I think I'm going to like it. Tomorrow I go in at 11 am and work until 3 pm. I think it's just going to be more orientation and learning where everything is, watching videos, etc. I'm not sure when I'll actually be starting behind the counter, but I'll get my schedule tomorrow. If I don't work until next week I'm going to try and get a ticket for the trl concert, which is Saturday. I'd really love to go because City High was added. That would make up for 3LW since I don't care for them. Anyway, I'm just really tired.

This morning was tough. I'm a very emotional person and the littlest things will make me sad, especially songs. It's my own fault for not just turning the damn radio off. I cried almost the whole way to school. They kept playing I'm Proud To Be An American by Lee Greenwood. That song has always made me cry, and today, wow that was bad. I mean I didn't bawl, but still. They were also playing these "songs" that someone put together with clips of people talking yesterday, witnesses, the president etc.

Everyone talked about it all day long, trying to see how others are feeling. There a lot of mixed reactions. I think the most important thing we can do now it pray for one, and also to let President Bush and the investigators do their jobs. We need to have proof before we point fingers. I have never been his number one fan, but I have faith in him to do the right thing for our country. We must stick together and stay strong.

Mags pointed this out:

"In the city of God there will be a great thunder, two big brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb. The third big war will begin when the city is burning.
- Nostradamus (1503-1566)"

So I thought I would look into it...here is some of what I've found.

The sky will burn at forty-five degrees. Fire approaches the great new city. (meaning New York)

By fire he will destroy their city, A cold and cruel heart, Blood will pour, Mercy to none. ("he" being the 3rd anti-christ that Nostradamus wrote about)

This is all pretty freaky.

Afternoon and Evening Classes Cancelled - September 11, 2001
Due to the tragedy, the campuses and centers of the Yuba Community College District are closing as of noon today, September 11. There will be no classes held after 12:00 today. A decision regarding Wednesday, September 12 will be forthcoming.
All of the staff at the Yuba Community College District express their great sorrow and offer our deepest condolences to the all the families, friends and associates of those whose lives were lost in today's great tragedies in America.
Our flag now flies at half mast in respect for all the lives lost and broken today. We offer our prayers for healing, a return to peace, and for greater understanding and cooperation among all the peoples of the world.

My heart goes out to those that lost their innocent lives on this dark day, and to their families. I hope that President Bush and the leaders of our nation do not hold back on their actions.

What is this world coming to? I am quite speechless about todays events. When my dad told me this morning, I turned on the tv to see what was going on. I started crying. This is terrible and I hope they can find out who committed these malicious acts toward our country. I am not, nor have I ever been a religious person, but right now would be a really good time to say a prayer for the victims and their families.

Yes I put up the new layout, but it doesn't seem important right now. I am thinking of putting a section up for rants, thoughts, and essays I've written for school. I just wrote a long response to a post at the TRL boards and I'd like to put it up here too. I'll work on that later. I'm starting my job tomorrow. It's just an orientation, and I'll mostly be doing paperwork, then I'll work Thursday. I have two tests tomorrow, Philosophy & Math. The math test will be easy, but I haven't studied for the Phil. test yet. I need to go do that.

Blogger is being stupid once again and won't let me save changes to my template. Therefore I can't update the stuff to the left. grr. I have plenty to say about the happenings of last Thursday night. It might surprise some though. I'll post about it when I get a chance tomorrow or Tuesday. This stupid thing better start working.

Wow where have I been...Yesterday was a good day and today got even better. Sunday night I went to see O with Jen & Brooke. It was such a good movie, but it was sad. The ending is kind of disturbing. Josh Hartnett was evil, but he still looked hot. It was obvious why they delayed the premiere for a couple years. Then after the show we went to Red Robbin and Lynde met us there. We talked and laughed for a long time about Jen's bisexual roommate who doesn't go to bed until 5 am, and Brooke's on-going trouble with guys. She's "seeing" this guy Jason that use to go to our high school when we were frosh, and he was a sophomore, and she met this guy at her orientation who she really likes too. She can't decide which one she wants to get to know better. lol. She's so funny. It was so great spending some time with the four of them for a couple of hours.

Last night Jen called me from Davis and told me a cool story. She was driving around Sac-town yesterday afternoon with her dad, and the dj on 102.5 said that whoever got to a certain street in 10 minutes would get a ticket to the trl tour. So she asked her Dad how to get to the street, and she got there and they gave her a free ticket to the show. It's a week from Saturday. It's a ticket for the lawn, but that's actually a good thing because now a group of us can try to get tickets for the lawn and we can all go together. We talked about going like a month ago, and then everyone forgot about it. I'm so happy now because I really want to go.

Jen was able to come home today so we're going to see Summer Catch tonight. She's in love with Freddie Prinze Jr. Who wouldn't be, the man is perfect. Okay the reason I said today got even better is because I got a job at Target. I'll start next week.

Okay I need to get off of here now and go get ready to leave. I didn't realize what time it was. Later.

Friday night and I have nothing better to do then go to a high school football game. I'll get to see a few people I haven't seen since Grad Nite. Jen is coming home this afternoon so I'll see her at the game. She got a cell phone so she called me Monday night. I think she's doing a little better, but it's still really weird for her to be away from her family and friends 24/7. I still haven't heard from Brooke. I guess I should try sending her another email and leaving a message on her phone. I know she's busy with classes and tennis. I'm not expecting to see Lynde at the game. She barely went to them when we were still in high school. It's still weird being out, and a college student. There are quite a few people at "Yuba Tech" from SHS, so it's nice to see familiar faces now and them, but it's weird not seeing other people. Okay I'm going to go rest for a while.

TGIF, finally... and no classes Monday!

Okay this post is going to be all about site plugs. averageangel.com, dirtypop.nu, honeysuckle.nu & this cloud all have awesome new layouts. Plus Kit got her O-Town fan fiction site up and running at aa.com.

Melanie & Arianna both have semi-new layouts but I forgot to blog about them. Both are very cool.

If you have a BSB or Backstreet related site (ie Krystal, Aaron Carter, etc.) go join Holly's Krazay Exchange.

I'd also like to give a shout out to my bud Kianna... What are YOU doing?

While I am at it I might as well plug my TRL fanlisting now located at envy.nu/trlfans. Go join!

Okay I'm done now I promise.
