I come online and open an IM window.

It seems sick to say "How's it going?" or "What's new?". My friend says I should say "Are you OK?" She has a good idea.

I'm a little speechless right now. I can sa adjectives that I'm thinking but none of them express my feelings.

Everyone talks about bombs and nukes and retaliation. That is the last thing we should spend our time thinking about right now. There are lives that need rescuing and families and friends that need support.

I want to cry.

I would definitely call this a bad side effect of swear filtering. At Paintball.com's forum there is a swear filter that replaces the middle of the swear word with stars. (ie, f**k) Well what happens when people start talking about cocking the paintball gun?
