2001 the answers to the previous weeks questions will be sent via
email to all members of the Dickie V Mailing List. To become a member
just click the button below.
It’s free and you will also get the inside
scoop on college hoops from Dickie V himself.
Official Rules & Regulations
No purchase or obligation necessary. Open only to
legal residents of the fifty (50) United States. Winner and guest
will be flown to Florida from within the United States only.
Employees of Dick Vitale, Inc. and all family members
are not permitted to participate.
HOW TO ENTER:
There will be different trivia questions posted Monday – Friday
of every week at dickvitaleonline.com. At anytime on Friday, Saturday
and Sunday you can submit your answers to the questions from that
week (Monday thru Friday). Use ONLY the button
above. Answers received after midnight on Sunday are not
eligible. The individuals who get all five questions of the week
correct will be entered into the grand prize drawing. One can participate
in as many weekly contests as they wish. The
weekly contests will conclude on March 18, 2001. No purchase
necessary. No entry fee required.
INSTRUCTIONS:
When submitting your answers on Friday, Saturday or Sunday to the
weekly contests, you must include your name, address, phone number,
and email address in order to be eligible to win.
GRAND PRIZE:
One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing
from all eligible weekly contest winners. The grand prize will be
a trip to Sarasota, Florida for the winner and a guest to have dinner
with Dick Vitale. Trip consists of round-trip coach-class air travel
for two (2) to Tampa or Sarasota Airport from a major airport nearest
the winner's residence, hotel accommodations (one room/two nights),
and dinner with Dick Vitale at a restaurant of his choice. The trip
will be in the month of May, the final date to be agreed upon by
winner and representatives from Dick Vitale, Inc.
The odds of winning depend on the total number
of eligible entries received for the drawing.
GRAND PRIZE DRAWING:
The grand prize drawing will be March 22,
2001. The winner will be notified by both phone and email,
no later than 11:00 PM/EST on March 22, 2001. If the winner is unable
to be reached by March 29, 2001 an alternate winner will be drawn.
PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:
No substitutions, cash equivalents or transfers of prizes permitted.
Grand prize winner must travel between 5/1/01 and 5/31/01 or prize
will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. No refunds
or credit for changes are allowed. If airline tickets or hotel vouchers
are lost they will not be replaced. All tickets are subject to route
changes.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
By participating, entrants agree: (a) to these Official Rules and
the decisions of dickvitaleonline.com and its agents as final in
all matters relating to the Contest and: (b) that dickvitaleonline.com,
Dick Vitale, Inc., Tandem Enterprises and its agents will have no
liability or responsibility whatsoever for any claim arising in
connection with participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession
or use of any prize that may be awarded; (c) dickvitaeonline.com
reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or terminate
the Contest should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond its control
corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest;
(d) dickvitaleonline.com reserves the right to seek damage and other
remedies from any such person to the fullest extend permitted by
law for any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately
damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the
Contest
