You debauched my sloth! No wait, it was a one-eyed one-horned flying purple people eater.

In truth, I really don't want to give this asshead and his little pals any hits but damn, the idiocy is almost laughable. The article about "woman and weight" (the plural of woman is women, Einstein) makes me think a fourth grader wrote it. Then again when I was in fourth grade I knew what the plural of woman was.

I think a lot of people could benefit from reading Kitty (@sinnocence.com)'s entry for today (9-12-01). I like what she has to say, very rational, a reminder to keep a cool head and don't start hating. Please read.
Thanks,
Moon.

Everything's a giant mess. What is with people and their bombings and idiocy? I don't need to reiterate, just turn on the news. I hesitate to call it an "act of war" or compare it with Pearl Harbor. All I can say is why the hell can't people just get along? We were always told to play nice, now why can't adults play nice? I can't really say much because I've run out of words. I'm just appalled.
I haven't heard any more planes being diverted in the past fifteen minutes (I live about 20 or so miles east of O'Hare).

It's referral time!
"Gretsch Eddie Cochran" ... whoever surfed to my site apparently found it interesting, they hung around for awhile.
"hornblower er"... I don't know if that's a typo or intentional. That could make an interesting crossover. Perhaps Benton and Corday and Romano could save Archie (and keep him in Chicago 2K1 to the annoyance of Crumpeteers)?

I'm still alive, folks. My phone got disconnected and since cable inet is not available in my area (I have no clue why), I'm not online much. I love how the library sticks me on the Youth computer and everything I look at is filtered. Gah. My email's gonna be seriously backed up but I can't put my mailing lists on "web only" because I can't get at them from here and because the phone got cut off before I could do it. Now I hope I don't fall victim to the Great Ameritech Wait of Chicago. I doubt it though. Hmm... something tells me I'm better off here in Elgin than even thinking of moving to the big city (even though I can hardly exchange two words with people here).

I resurrected an old web based e-mail addy and I have to say I still love Elvis.com e-mail. Nice clean interface (no, it's not pink and black or leopard print!), lots of options including multiple sigs/personalities (you can select one via a drop down list while composing), POP email checking, and but one teeny tiny ad in the top frame, sitting in the logo. I wonder what prog/script they use, probably one especially made for elvis.com. Oh yeah, the site's pretty groovy too. I like young rockin' cute Elvis. Surprised? I didn't think so.

Search entries:
Boy with a Gretsch: Eddie Cochran (1938-1960), circa 1957ish. Why? He's a Libra, I like his tunes and he was easy on the eyes. So there.
