The pain in my stomach has finally subsided. I've avoided greasy food and drank a lot of water today. I think there's a lot of gas in my tummy. Hopefully, it will go away tomorrow.
What did I learn in my Mandarin class today? Well, we had to learn how to read the time properly in Mandarin. It was a bit of a struggle for me, as I dislike anything to do with numbers. My classmates laughed as I fumbled to read the numbers written on the whiteboard. And at the end of the class, our teacher promised a treat for next week's lesson. Yes, she will give us a test to assess how much we've absorbed for the past six weeks. Argh...I don't like to study for tests or exams.

I don't feel so great today. I woke up at 5.30 am with a bad
stomachache and couldn't fall asleep again. Breakfast was a small plum, because I simply didn't have the appetite to eat. The pain in my stomach persisted even though I've gone to the restroom twice. Perhaps, I should take something light for lunch. Otherwise, the stomachache might be worsened by gastric pains. I do hope the pain will go away soon. Sigh...
My heart goes out to the families of those who have perished in the terrorist
attacks in the US. However, I also worry and fear for the safety and lives of
the innocent people in the Middle East. For now, I can only hope...

Who is Nit?
My real name is Norhanita Samad aka Nita or Nit. I was born in the Year of
the Dog, on 19 September 1970, which means I am also a Virgo. Yes, I am a
perfectionist at home and at work, but, I am also a loyal, trustable, kind-hearted
and loving person. I enjoy travelling, reading, watching movies, swimming,
walking and listening to music. I have an interest in photography, but I do
not have much time to spend on it. I love cats and I was probably a cat in
my previous life. I graduated with a BA(Mass Comm), and currently working
in an outsource IT marketing and data management firm. I hope to get back
into the media industry in the near future.
