Heads up kids! Big news here at YBG HQ.

1. September 18th. That is the magic day for the YBG-010 and YBG-011, the new albums from Lightheavyweight and Radio Berlin, respectively. Until then, for a limited time, we are accepting pre-orders for either album for a discount price over at our online store. Rest assured, your credit card will NOT be charged until we ship your order. We'll drop you a note to let you know when it's on its way. In the meantime, click "Catalogue" to your left to get to the store.

2. The You and I CD "Within the Frame" is TEMPORARILY out of stock. I cannot stress TEMPORARILY enough. I've already seen this CD on E-Bay for waaaay too much money, listed as "out of print," and that's when we still had it in stock. As many of you know, it was a split release between YBG and Spiritfall, so we're getting the details worked out for the repress, which may take a little while. If you are interested in buying the disc, please be patient and drop us an e-mail. We'll write you as soon as they're back.

3. As Toby mentioned, there is a new (kind of) MP3 up. Unlike the other My Favorite Citizen tracks floating around the internet, this one has never been released in any way, shape, or form until now. Go to the sounds page to check out "B-29."

4. Situation at Twelvehundred's CD-EP "De-Luxe" is now only FIVE DOLLARS!!! You heard me right - $5. The band is no longer together, but the interest remains, so we figure that we can get away with cutting the price. On behalf of the band we'd also like to thank everyone who has downloaded the 1200 online single, making the release a huge success. It proved to us that the format is a fun and viable one for future releases, while proving to the band that all of their hard work was well worth it. Thanks!

We're looking to get a street team in place prior to the release of Radio Berlin and Lightheavyweight's CDs. If you're interested, please email me. If you'd like to join our email list, send an email to the same address. Please use your subject header to specify which one you're interested in.

Look for a fairly big announcement about both new releases later this week. And check out the "sounds" page for something new (sort of) as well.

Sorry to be so quick on the news draw.

If anyone has e-mailed me at info@your...com lately, their e-mail may have been eaten by the ethers. I'm not going to explain it all here, but let's just say that sometimes Scott doesn't think ahead and does some pretty dumb shit. If you want any info or want to get in touch with me personally, please go ahead and do so. There should be no further problems.

Howdy kids!

I just wanted to drop a little note for everyone ordering YBG releases via regular ol' mail. We're now accepting checks made payable to "Your Best Guess" rather than Toby Carroll. It's much easier for us to deposit and hopefully for you to remember.

Now order something, will ya?!?!?

Well, we don't really have dates yet for the Radio Berlin / Lightheavyweight tour in the fall yet, but we do have some news. Those of you who follow our web board should know what I'm talking about.

Radio Berlin is going out in October and November for five weeks. Part of that tour will feature Lightheavyweight and the other part will be with Ghost Orchids. Ghost Orchids features ex-members of I Am Spoonbender and Subpoena The Past, so that should be an awesome tour all around. So far, it looks like the tour will take the bands all across southern Canada and the entire continental US. There don't seem to be any plans for Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or Cuba at the moment, but we'll see if their arms can't be twisted.

Lightheavyweight and Radio Berlin will be touring the west coast together in October.

Rocky's next full-length will be released on Second Nature this autumn.

Two Radio Berlin-related bands, Jerk With a Bomb and A Luna Red, will be touring this summer. (In fact, Jerk... is on tour now). We'll have tour dates posted soon.

This is what happens when neither label guy has much experience with Latin...

The Lightheavyweight album title is actually Quanti Romani.

And, as promised, MP3s from the upcoming Lightheavyweight and Radio Berlin CDs can be found in the "Sounds" section.
