now you can Sing Like Sarah McLachlan! (i doubt this is an official Nettwerk release, but its existence is somewhat amusing. the lone review says to beware quality though.)

Sarah can be heard just in time for the Christmas season! Nettwerk is releasing their first Christmas album called "Christmas Songs," which will feature the likes of Sarah McLachlan, Tara MacLean, Dido, Bare Naked Ladies, Delerium and more! The Sarah song on the album is "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," which she sings with BNL. For more information, visit the Nettwerk site.

so, there hasn't been much sarah news lately. but, there was a press release recently stating that sarah supports artists against piracy, and also sam goody apparently has a new sarah release slated for august 22, however nettwerk has no idea about it, so it could be some compilation or gold cd or whatever. anyway, just to let you know.

update, it's some sort of delerium silence single

via fte » Lilith Co-Founder Proposes TV Series, Tour » "Marty Diamond, the agent who helped create the Lilith Fair tour with Sarah McLachlan and manager Terry McBride, is shopping a proposal for a Lilith-inspired TV show and associated tour based on mixed genders, genres, and spontaneous collaborations." pretty nifty O. i'm doubting the "spontaneous" collaborations, but imagine the possibilities. this is what mtv used to be known for! and then yesterday my housemate got sucked into watching realworldhawaii...eheh

from murmurs, "The Order of Canada ceremonies at which Sarah was honoured, will air on CPAC (Canadian Public Affairs Channel) Saturday, May 6 at 6 pm Eastern Time."

btw, murmurs is Sarah's official fanzine, of which parts are publicly available on the website. since it's official, they're actually allowed to interview Sarah, so there's some interesting blurbs if you haven't seen it.
