Allegra Goodman: Calming the Inner Critic and Getting to Work Despite its use of the dreaded carpe diem, this article captures some of the essence of the creative process. Some of my friends were on the team that built Peoplestreet. It was a grueling project. It seems to be coming onto the web at a bad time. But it might actually be useful. I signed up. I'm easy. I'll sign up for practically any web service. 1.8.2001

Well, I was up half the night working and listening to The Connection, which was talking about blogs. I figured, WTF, I'll add a blog to my fledging eCommerce slacker website. This gives me a touch of motivation to actually start adding content to the site, perhaps draw in some readers. Probably not. Today I'm working from home, and decided to use my lunch break (2:30 is about the right time for lunch, isn't it?) to set the blinkin' blog up. Welcome. |
