Freespeech is disconintuing free web hosting. So, again, I find my site homeless. Now, I have no idea what to do or where to go. I'd love to get my own domain, but lack of mooLAH keeps me from doing that. Anyone have any suggestions? Pretty please?

Almost a week since it happened and the media is still going full force. They've brought us amazing stories, pictures and many personal accounts of what happened last Tuesday. We only have nine channels, no cable or satellite. Every single one of them have been following the attack on America 24/7. Which is good, I was able to stay up-to-date on what's been happening in NYC and in DC. But I am tired of hearing the same information over and over. There isn't anything new to tell. It will be weeks before the debris is cleared, all victims accounted for (if they ever are) and perhaps years before this whole thing is resolved.

I can't imagine what victims' families are going through right now. I can't imagine how tired the rescuers are. The media needs to keep America in touch with NYC and our political leaders. But I think everyone needs a break from the TV.

Chris and I spent yesterday morning away from the television set. I helped my sisters cook a surprise dinner for our parents (for no reason; just to let them know we loved them). Later in the afternoon Chris rode the four-wheeler with some guys while I washed my car. Then we both did his homework in the recliner together.

And its' just what we needed.

This is all so surreal. And scary.

Like many others, I too will also be taking a Moment of Silence. See you in a few days.

Its' doesn't have anything to do with the major fiasco going on today, but I wanted to note crats.pitas.com before I forget.

Someone sweet sent me a sympathy card. Thanks, and you're right about losing a pet ~ it is heartbreaking.

Terrorist Attack

9:20am
Wow. Two planes hit the World Trade Center.

10:30am
This is crazy. First, the World Trade Center, then the Pentagon, the World Trade Center again and now The State Department. This is SCARY.

10:45am
Ohmygosh. They just said that the Goverment is monitoring a plane still in flight that is suspected to be hijacked.

11:04am
Stay tuned to DaveZilla for up to the minute updates on this crisis.

2:20pm
Jish has some really good links to news and photos from the diseasters in NY and DC.

2:40pm
Something I've thought of. You think we're scared? You think this chaos? Imagine the Middle East. This is normal for people over there. Imagine how scared children stay over there everyday.

We don't know how blessed we are to be in the US.

2:45pm
Everytime I hear a story on the radio, read about it on the internet or see it on TV I get chills.

Find your weblogger twin.

The quiz says my top two choices are Caroline of prolific.org and Heather of harrumph.com. I'm gonna have to start reading up on these gals. See if we could really be twins :)
