important news: website faithfuls read & reply
i am not just thinking about a redesign.i am thinking about discontinuing revant as a blog, turning revant into simply a storage space of my paltry writings, and leaving it alone.
instead, i will keep a much more lively and interesting blog-type thing at livejournal.com.basically, the system would very much resemble chry's. she has a livejournal, but she also maintains a personal website that is basically a little portfolio of her writing. in fact, a lot of livejournals i read use this method to keep sites. they have a journal, as well as a page with their work. nifty, eh? i think this would better suit me.
the biggest downside would be abandoning blogger--a tool i desparately, desparately love and has served me well. but maybe it's not for me. maybe it never was for me, or maybe it's time has passed and i must move on to different ventures. don't get me wrong, i would never leave elurgee--the awesome site i contribute to. but revant would be updated even less frequently than it is now, and it would be reduced to, again, just a portfolio of sorts.
but what i want is feedback. you tell me where to go, what i should do. i know i'm down to 2 hits a day, but still, those are 2 valid opinions. tell me what direction i should go. do i...
#1) keep my blog as is with a redesign
#2) go with the plan described abovethat's it for now. write me and tell me, please.

redesign
the redesign is going much slow than i had hoped, partly because i'm lazy, and partly because--well it's all because i'm lazy. have no fear though; if i don't have a new design before next monday then i'll consider myself a failure in life.

what tomorrow brings
since i will have nothing better to do
tomorrow
i have decided that revamping my page is the biggest priority in my life. of course, i feel this way for this moment only, 7:51 pm on april 11th, but i hope to recapture this feeling tomorrow morning and run with it throughout tomorrow so that by the end of tomorrow you will be seeing a brand new revant that contains traces of the old but looks forward to the future while still living in the present.there were 63 words in that last sentence alone.

irony
it's ironic, i suppose, that i vow myself to make a post--5 of them actually. 5 beautiful posts i've constructed in my head, and ready to post them one after another.and then for my computer to break down, only to be rehabilitated for today. i've been without a computer for a week. and now, those 5 posts i was so anxious to write about--all the emotion i had for them is gone. i have no feeling. as much as i wanted to express what i felt then, i have no desire now. they are forever lost. and, with my computer on the brink, i do not know when i will post next.
i wish i could tell everyone to stay tuned, but i don't know if i'm going to break down again or what. just keep your eyes posted every so often. hopefully i'll be up and posting in no time.

in the middle
a key to understanding me, or, well, let me start again.as i start to understand myself, i realize that, for the most part, i separate my days into successes and failures. but it's days like today--days that fall in the oblivion between the two, into this chasm of major successes and major losses...these days that reveal qualities about a person, qualities which cannot be weighted as good or as bad, but as simple qualities and nothing more...and these qualities that i cannot pass judgment on because i cannot read them or i do not know what i feel about them...
it's days like today that confuse me and stir up my inner turmoil. what do i feel--toward you, towards those qualities? how do i weigh them, how do i judge them? what right have i, or anyone, to pass judgment? how do i make heads or tails of this situation?
what chance do i have with you?
