So here's the deal:

I got a promotion at work (yay me!) roughly at the same time the Web market decided to make like the Hinderberg. Therefore, my job consists of running around trying not to scream "Oh, the humanity!" some 60-odd hours a week.

Add to that my vicious television criticism habit -- I'm still recapping CSI for Mightybigtv, still snarking for Teevee.org and providing television news summaries for Plastic.com -- and I don't have a whole lot of free time. Now, throw in a book I'm writing on a subject which -- while geekily enjoyable -- requires a lot of detail-oriented attention.

What I'm trying to say is, it's gonna be a while before there's anything new on this page. I'll gladly tell you when the page reboots, if you'll tell me you want to know. I'm also taking suggestions for the next iteration of Dot.minion. It seems that now, once the idiot filter seems to have kicked in and begun sifting the wheat from the chaff, well, -- now is the really interesting time to be working in the Brave New Workplace.

a) life gets less crazy
b) I develop mad stress management skillz
c) I manage both a) and b), which will undoubtedly be ten seconds before Hell decides to defy this global-warming trend what's got the enviromentalists all freaked out
