Wow. Just proves how I'm becoming outdated.
I just realized, as I clicked the "Publish" button, that Blogger now actually has Spellcheck.
And I thought only Bill Gates & Co. had it.
Just proves how mad the Supreme Court is. Heh. :P

You ever had the feeling that the whole world around you is spinning, but you're the only one standing still??
That's what I feel now.
Just now I just thought of re-entering the blogging world.
First I go to geekgrrl dot log and find it has a new layout.
Then I log into Blogger and type into the Sign Up instead of Sign In part.
Next I find my friends have totally abandoned their imoods.
Blogvoices being down was absolutely the last straw.
What else can I say??
I'm back home right now...for a few days before I trot back to summer school again...
Come to think of it, I haven't been blogging for ages.
Can't help it, ya know.
First it's exams, then I get obsessed with PR boards, then I have summer school...
Ya know, I'm thinking of just closing down Simplicity...
'Coz you know I haven't been spending much time on it lately...
But I don't want to.
It's always been my home, my own turf.
But I just don't have the time to devote to it, not with Form 4 and all that.
School bites.
Oh well, I'll have to decide.
Too bad Blogvoices is down now, or you could give me your opinions.
I'll do one of the following:
<1> Shut Simplicity... down.
<2> Leave Simplicity... stagnant but still up.
<3> Suddenly let my blogpassion return and blog as much as I used to.
Chances are <1> or <2> will win out.
Whatever.

Isn't it remarkable how people only remember the things they like to remember, and forget the things that don't concern them?
The Nanjing Massacre had happened in 1937.
Almost 4,000,000 civilians killed, mutilated or raped.
All Europe and USA turned a blind eye.
Then, Pearl Harbour, December, 1941. 1,102 military personnel dead.
And USA entered World War II. The rest is history.
God, isn't it ironic?
The Japanese had been invading China long before Pearl Harbour.
4,000,000 people dead. And only in one city. God only knew the casualties in others.
But of course the Western world didn't have to react. Why should they?
After all, those 4,000,000 people killed were only Chinese civilians
They weren't English, French or American...they were only Chinese.
Of course their sense of humanity, their sense of justice would not extend to that part of the human race.
After all, what did the Chinese have to do with them?
Let them die. Let them be massacred. Let them be mutilated. What did it have to do with them?
4 years later, 1,102 people dead. And all hell broke out.
Now this time it was serious. Dead serious.
This time the dead people were American people!
We're going to enter World War II and beat the shit out of these Japs!
Heck, they actually dared to kill 1,102 of our people!! UNFORGIVABLE!!!
So what should we learn from this lesson?
That 4,000,000 Chinese lives are worthless, while 1,102 American lives are priceless?
Which country was it whose Constitution stated that "All men were born equal"?
That same country apparently changed its mind.
I'm not saying that anyone was wrong or is wrong.
I have the utmost respect for the people who died in Pearl Harbour.
But some things...some things just are darn unfair.
Dead is dead...what does it matter which race the dead guy had belonged to?
Oh, don't let us forget that recent fiasco about the spy plane.
24 Americans held in custody for a few days while spying and crashing on the other guy's territory, and immediately every single American wants World War III on China.
1 Chinese actually dead after the spy plane veered into it, and what? Nothing. Not a single word.
While the Americans were sounding the national anthem for their returning heros and heroines, the Chinese were playing a death requiem for their dead comrade. And of course, the Chinese have to be the wrong ones.
Is this God's idea of a cruel joke, or is life this ironic?

Nanjing Massacre Part I
Nanijing. A lovely city, just beautiful. Nice buildings, occasionally a nice view, but the ground you're standing on was once stained with blood.
After World War I, Wilson of the USA, Lloyd George of Britain and Clemenceau of France messed up.
They transferred the rights in Shandong (a state in China), which had belonged to Germany, to Japan, and by doing that, unmistakably sealed the fate of the Chinese.
Oh, they did it with good reason -- it was of course better for their countries.
They wanted to curry favour with the Japanese.
Therefore it was all right and reasonable to grab China's rights of control over her own land and give them to Japan.
And the result? A massacre to equal, if not exceed, the Nazi extermination of the Jews. The Nanjing Massacre.
Oh, the Japanese deny it ever took place. But the Chinese know it did.
The proof?
In 3 months 369,366 Chinese civilians were slaughtered by the Japanese.
An estimated 80,000 women and girls -- ones raped while already dead not counted -- were raped.
Oh, and you can be sure the Japanese didn't forget to mutilate and murder them afterwards.
And if you're not sure, you can definitely see the proof in these pictures.
Look at the photos...I leave them to you to create your own captions. What could I have possibly said?

Just read that Taiwan's unemployment rate was around 4.something %.
Wow. No comment.
Guess what. I'm really out of touch with the cyberworld.
I don't go online for some period of time, and when I get back on...everything's changed.
NOTE: Don't click on the links on the left...all you'll get are dozens of 404 messages.
I guess turned on my hairdryer to dry my hair...(oh did I mention I got a haircut?)
And I now have this feeling..."ngou sum" feeling...as if I want to throw up...down in my chest.
Gosh...I'll get some apple green tea (Joe are you reading this?) to try and make it go away...
The tea didn't work. I'm still stuck with the feeling.
My cousin's coming over w/ her boyfriend. Hope she doesn't meet my mom.
Shoot...I have Math class later...how am I going to survive with that feeling in my chest?

Mm...finally forced myself to get online.
I wasn't really doing anything to Simplicity, and I was getting out of touch with the cyberworld.
Anyway, so now I'm here, hale and hearty.
And tired. I just listened to two guyz in Int. Politics class ramble ON and ON and ON from Iraq to Afghanistan to Japan to China...
And that CHINA thing was practically killing me.
I mean, those guyz were just trying to show off in front of the old man. They didn't have to make the rest of us listen, did they?
(Oh, Nick, if you ever get to see this, I hate you for dragging out IP class and making me late for my date...)
Oh well. So here's what happened.
(Transcript of IP lesson...)
OM: Old Man
N: Nick
R: Rest of us
O: Owen
OM: So does anyone have an opinion on whether new destructive technology will provide world safety?
R: (silence)>
N: History seems to have proved that it does.
OM: How?
N: Well it seems that other countries don't dare to attack us 'coz we have A-bombs and that kind of stuff.
R: (silence)
OM: But what about that havoc about the weapons in Iraq and Afghanistan?
N: Well it was their fault, wasn't it? They were having dangerous weapons.
R: (silence)
O: Are you sayin' that we can have A-bombs but Iraq and Afghanistan can't even have missiles?
N + R: (silence...gratifying that Nick can actually shut up for one second)
OM: And what about that scandal about our spy plane crashing in China and the 24 airmen and airwomen? Nick?
N: (silence)
...
And so that's how the whole darn long lesson went. What the heck possessed the old man to ask stupid questions like these?
Says it prepares us for the whatever-Case-Method in law school...yeah right.
At this rate I'll be dead before I even get there.
OH DUH. Nick, I hate you!!!
Oh well. Oh, um if you wanna know my views on the USA spy plane and China dead pilot thing, so click on the D I S C U S S thing underneath.
God I spent 5 minutes typing this thing, with my mom popping in and out like a jack-in-the-box.
Oh well.
Au revoir.

I'm so amazed at how we Americans got such a...President.
I mean, that stink about the spy plane near China was bad enough.
I mean, those guyz were stranded in China for what, a week??
And even worse, the Chinks had intended to set them free already.
If not for our wonderful President's stupid ultimatum, maybe those guyz would have been back in Hawaii the next day.
Talk about stupidity and bad timing.
And now this stupid thing.
Selling weapons to Taiwan, indeed.
The Chinese would bomb the hell out of Taiwan if Taiwan even used a single gun.
What does our esteemed President think China is, a puppet doll?!
I mean, the Chinks aren't weak little idiots anymore.
They have A-bombs just as well as USA does.
They have the biggest army in the world.
Their soldiers are not afraid of dying.
What the heck...
Our President is conveniently forgetting the Chinks do have an army.
And a damn good one, at that.
