[OOC] Sorry for being AWOL. May be on ICQ this Thursday, and I will definately have nothing to do on August 11th from 1:30ish to midnight.

[GM]
Perhaps either PC would care to discuss this little visit?
(or possibly move this particular scene to ICQ like it ought to be?)
Richard, you recall Egan as the name of Shiryou's familiar.

And Richard returns with a nicely fluffy towel.

Shiryou makes a point to not drip all over Richard's tiny apartment, and is still trying desperately to not stare at her. "Um, evening. I really hope I wasn't in-interupting anything .... "

Leaving Shiryou and Egan, briefly, alone with Rebecca...

And Richard steps out of the small living room into the miniscule bathroom to ftech a towel.

OOC: Ooh. Someone's been checking his logs.
IC, Rebecca, dryly, but pleasant enough "Charmed." If she recognizes you, Shir, her face does not betray it.

IC:"Is this an emergency, Shiryou? OH, heck, come in and let me get you a towel, you're sopping wet. "Shiryou, this is my... freind, Miss Rebbecca Harper. Rebbecca, this is Shiryou, a young man I've been tutoring as a bit of charity..."

OOC: No, my puter still is without sound. ANd I already have the whole"Dead Man's Party album on CD anyway. BTW, did you know the CS public library has a copy of Akira? ;)

[OOC: I'm pretty sure he was joking about "She Blinded Me With Science". At least, I hope so....]
IC:
Shiryou, you suddenly stop as you recognize the woman who Richard was sitting next to on the couch as the woman from the scrapbook way back, the one named Grace Blackwell, liason to Excelsior. It's been a long time since you read it, and it wasn't a very important detail, but Shiryou doesn't have many clues as to his identity, and has burned the few scraps he has deep into his brain....
Whoever she is, you're sure she was there. But she doesn't seem to have recognized you, yet.

[OOC: It ate my post. Hang on. Bad FTP, bad! *kicks Tripod FTP* Will be changing the template to show member and character names instead of just character names. Also been distracted with offline webpage building stuff for the Arcanum again, so been slow to respond. Sorry. Re: Theme Music - Scott, if your 'puter handles MP3s decently, I can upload the song I picked as Shiryou's theme to some directory or other. BTW, I do have "Wierd Science" as an MP3 if you want it.]

IC: Shiryou looks a bit nervous and embarressed when Richard answers the door. "Hi Richard, I hope I'm not interrupting anything important, but I have something to ask you, and ummm, Egan suggested you."
posted by A T, Shiryou 8:40:28 PM

She nods, apparently disappointed that you've decided to leave her side.
Richard gets the door.
It's a rain-soaked Shiryou and a rather soggy red cat standing there, looking wet.

scene-- I look at Rebecca, "Hold that thought for just a moment, will you? I need to go see who's at the door..."

re: theme music-- Considering who he's dating just now.... "she Blinded me With Science"? ;)

Great! Love these controls.
Not terribly concerned with being pretty just now, so, 's all good. Though I could probably do without the blinking purple 'Prime' symbol- very distracting, that.
As an aside, we have a 'Shiryou' musical theme-- either of you have a suggestion of a 'Richard Sebastian' theme? Something that suggests buildings, a city...
Taking things from the top, I believe you've both read the briefing email?
Then I guess that means we're good to go-- rewinding a little to the top of the scene.

Richard, you're sitting on the couch in some fascinating discussion with Rebecca. Something to do with architecture or mathematics, no doubt.
