Got this off of my mini Smarties package (for those of you without Smarties where you live, they're almost the same as M&M's. But they do melt in your hand. They have green ones too):
Make 20 different words out of the word SMARTIES.
Go!
(I'll start)

AAAAAH! Now THAT was close. I nearly compromised my do-not-read-ahead morals. See it all started with a really good Dilbert strip. It was one of those multi-day ones. He was the first cubicle to land on the moon.
I read Wednesdays. I read Thursdays. All when I'm supposed to.
I paused.
My palms started to sweat. I wanted needed to know what happens!
I flipped to Friday... read the first panel and nearly read the second and then [gasp!] the third. Luckily, I caught myself. Wow, that would have been the breaking point for me. I would have gone ahead and read more days - sometime up to a week inadvance! "It's OK, you already started" I would say to myself. "There's nothing you can do about it now!" the voices would say.

OK, this is stupid. I've got MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messanger and ICQ all running right now just so I can catch up with freinds, family and colleagues before the day ends.
Does anyone else do this? Why? Why not? What's a solution to amalgomating all these clients? H-E-L-P!
OKok, it's not that bad, but there has to be a better way!

Whew. It's been over 10 days since my last post. What's happened since then?
- That cat that we found abandoned from our evil neighbors: We were going to adopt it as it wouldn't be put up for public adoption (the spca is too full). We put in the 'special consideration' form, They called us, we called them, we got the cat's execution day extended specifically so we could adopt it (and of course by then we were just starting to get geared up for an additional cat) and the STILL KILLED IT. I sincerely hope that assistant who failed to file the paperwork lost her job.
- My birthday!!! Happy 24th to me. It was fun! Good food, awesome presents and a nice relaxing weekend. Looking forward to this weekend too. It's more like Happy Birthweek. Lots of fun stuff.
Anyway. That's about it. I'm working on Bluspherestudio 2.0 and some new parts to the site, so stay tuned. For all you people who visit from other countries to read my page: HELLO!!!! Nice to see you. Feel free to e-mail me about Web design, print, etc. articles worthy of posting. I'm always looking to chit-chat.
On another note, I've been doing more print work lately - it's good to do something I haven't done in a few years. Skills are a bit rusty, but I'm getting there! One thing I noticed is something that is chock full of design and style might look good in my eyes, but not the eyes of the printers. I had inner-beveled a logo so as to look like it was stamped on steel and they thought they screwed up with the 'trap' (lining up the 4 colors). A misaligned trap is like when you read the color comics on Saturday morning when the colors are off-set. Ever seen that? That's what it's like.

Really Dumb Decisions:
- Put your bank card number, relevant menu buttons and PIN in your phone's speed dial memory.
- Put your message machine number and pin in your phone (or, Heaven forbid, your mobile phone) speed dial directory.
- "Remember my name and password" in Internet Explorer the next time you check your balance at work using online banking.
The reason for these little insights is (thankfully) I haven't fallen into this trap, and I get mildly irked that I can practically get carpal tunnel syndrome checking for messages day in and day out - which means that there must be people out there that made the executive decision in the name of convenience to automate some of the more mundane-yet-vital tasks...
Obviously, in case no one gets it, any of these actions can allow people with a little bit of time and craftiness to steal some really juicy parts of your life away from you.
I invite anyone else to include some Really Dumb Decisions of their own!
