Official Site of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games What is up with rhythmic gymnastics? Is it just me, or does anyone else think it's crazy that this is an olympic sport? For goodness' sake, the announcers call the hula hoop or piece of rope an "apparatus!" This is just crazy. I'm having a hard time deciding what is more ridiculous in the olympics... rhythmic gymnastics or curling :)
