As I look around and see what some of the aftermath of yesterdays events has caused, I feel disgusted, mostly of what I see here at work. The unwillingness of other depts who feel that they are above lending a helping hand. Have we not learned anything?

I can't stop thinking about all the footage I have seen today, and how it's left me with feelings of anger, fear, confusion and grief. The world changed before our eyes today. The terrorist were successful in changing the lives of our nation, and for this I am angry, I am angry because they used OUR freedom against us and I am angry that innocent people were used as a bomb. I am confused because I want justice, but not at the expense of taking innocent lives. I am fearful of what the future holds , I am fearful that I may not see my brother who is supposed to be back on American soil next month and I am fearful of how certain races here in the US may be treated after today. I am sad for the lives lost and the family that have to pick up and I am sad because I had to say good bye to a co-worker who was called off to duty and seeing fear in his eyes for the first time. God Speed Jay!

I think in this time of darkness and hate, it's just as important to love.

Spent yesterday with some good friends hanging out at Kings Island. Leaving the park was another adventure in its own right ( thanks to Ben and Jiggety ). On the way home last night, I reflected on the summer and can't believe how fast this one has gone. It's been a great one at that! I got to see some of my best friends that I have'nt seen in a few years and was asked to come back next year to be present in Mike's wedding, heh the stories I could tell you about him! It's very cool though to see that he's finally setting down, and an honor to be a part of it ( i'm soooo looking forward to the bachelor party! ). Plans are also underway for more bogey boarding next year, now it's a matter of CoCoa Beach Florida again, or Hawaii.

Lots of changes in the last few months, I lost a roommate, but luckily didnt lose Nick as a friend, he's still close enough to bug if need to. Yvonne and I have been best friends for 14 years now, and only seem to get tighter, heh go figure!( it's been a crazy ride, a ride that has just only begun ) , no we're not dating or anything although some of you wish "it" would happen, heh don't hold your breaths folks! Heh I still love her even though she buested me out recently, although I didn't start it, she did! =)

I turned 31 this summer, much thanks and love to Ben and Helen for helping me not feel it! =)

My favorite time of the year is right around the corner. One more trip to take to end the summer. The weekend of Sept.21 I'm taking some buddies with me home to visit and to do some fishing. Between Ben, Rich , Myself and certain family memebers, I hope we don't end up in jail on this trip!

Oh and enjoy all 4 pictures I took at Kings Island yeah yeah I know only 4 picutres, but my dumbass forgot to charge the batteries for my camera, and well I had so much fun that I really forgot that I even had the camera and to go ahead and give my left arm and a few fingers for some fresh new batteries.
