Well! Today (Wednesday), may have been your first day of not being so tired. I hope it was a good one. What did you do today? I worked. What a surprise! The music appreciation banquet was tonight at church, and each of you got certificates. I'm so proud of you for being the choirs you are each in! We'll have to remember to pick them up the next sunday we're all at church.
Are the bride and groom excited about the wedding? I bet there is a lot going on. I hope there's some fun stuff going on for you too.
Okay. 9:00. Time to start headed to bed. I miss you BooBoos!
Love, Daddy

Your first full day in Spain! I wonder what you did? Hmmmmm I bet you had a Fanta, for sure. Sam—have you seen any Pokèmon in Spain? Ben—Soccer is a big sport there...have you seen anyone playing soccer? Ruth—are the Power Puff Girls on TV there?
I miss you!

This blog the those that follow for the next few days are written for my children, who have traveled to Spain for a week... Wow! You're flying over the ocean! It's a loooong trip, isn't it. There are things that are really neat about it: the airports are neat, taking off in the plane is neat, looking out in the window at the clouds is neat, the snacks and the toys are neat, and landing is neat.
Isn't it strange how long the sun is up? Since you left in the afternoon, it never went down, did it? You'll be so tired for the first few days; you will fall asleep in the middle of the day! But then it will get better.
When you get back, I want to hear about from each of you your favorite thing about the week. I love you, and hope that soon you will be having a GREAT time!
Love, Daddy

Good grief. Look how long it's been since I've blogged! I'm surprised I've not been banned from blogging... I've been busy adjusting to my new job. It's very different to be on the computer all day long for a living. As things turned out, I started in the middle of a department deadline. So, I'm not really doing what I will be doing, yet. I've been doing a lot of editing. And then I've done some editing, and when I work on something else, I edit. :)
One of the best things about the job is the phone never rings. Now that's really different from what I had been doing. The next best thing is the view from my office. I have a cubical with a window! It looks out over downtown, which is really neat. And I can have plants!
It's pretty amazing though how tired one can get just sitting all day long. By the time I get home and prepare lunches, etc for the next day, I go right to bed. Thus the lack of blogs.
My children are going to Spain with their mother for a week. I'm glad for them to get the experience, and they certainly need to visit with that side of their family. However, I'm going to miss them terribly. And I'll worry.
'k. Enough for now. See you in another couple of months... :)

WHEW!!! The 3rd grade science project is finished! Hypothesis: Different kinds of apples have the same number of seeds.
Although the Apple Guy online says that this is true, our experiment proved this hypothesis false. All I know is the kid had better get a good grade on this thing, 'cause we both worked really, really hard!
Hopefully, by the end of the week, I'll have some MAJOR news...Everybody keep those fingers and toes crossed!

The Irish Day Celebration was FREEZING. I looked at the temp on the bank clock at one point and it said 35 degrees. (That's 2 degrees above freezing for you non-americans.) At any rate, it was great for the kids. They loved the parade (gobs of candy) and the carnaval. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera :(
We got home about 6:00, ate dinner, got bathes, and ALL of us were in bed by 8:30.
It really is something that this really small town is able to pull off a day like that every year. I don't know of any other places of it's size that have such a tradition. Kinda makes me proud!

Big weekend ahead! The gang is going to my home town for a parade, fish-fry, and my dad's birthday. It'd be nice if the weather cooperates! I suppose I'm not one for weekend trips. They just seem to make the weekend that much shorter. But, the kids will enjoy the parade and the carnaval. Maybe I can remember to take my camera and take some pictures :)

Sorry it's been so long since I've blogged. It's just about a reflection of how long it's been since I've THOUGHT. Just been busy with work, kids, cleaning, and sleeping, and that's about it! I need to come up with something else to keep me "nettertained" and to post on my pages. ANY ideas would be welcomed!
