Invalid Litter Dept. Video (Uncensored)
Hey everybody,
The new video for "invalid litter dept." is here for your perusal, check it out on the media page. it has footage from the band and Anton Corbjin mixed together. We think we tell the story as well as we can in the six plus minutes the song lasts. This story is very involved and we hope that you will read more about it and talk about it with others and maybe if these women are in our thoughts and prayers, it will make a difference. click here for a story on the murders:

ATDI TO TAKE BREAK FROM TOURING
Hey all, sorry to be the bearer of more bad news from the ATDI camp, but the band has decided that it has to take a break from the road to recollect their thoughts. From Omar, "After a non-stop six-year cycle of record/tour/record/tour, we are going on an indefinite hiatus. We need time to rest up and re-evaluate...just to be human beings again and to decide when we feel like playing music again." There is no plan as to when touring will resume at this time. We are sorry for those of you who purchased tickets to the upcoming shows, as the upcoming tour of April 11-20 and the KROQ free show will be canceled. Tickets purchased can be refunded at point of sale. We will keep you updated as to the bands plans as they develop. Hopefully that will be soon.

Hey everybody,
ATDI sincerely apologizes for postponing the final 5 shows of the current European tour. We had 3 cases of severe flu which led to exhaustion and the inability for them to continue. We will try to make up the shows as soon as we make room in the schedule. So sorry for the inconvenience... I also apologize for taking so long to post this, as i've been busy making arrangements due to the cancellations.
thanks

It's finally here, the band's first full length album in 2 years. We are very excited and hope you are too. Everyone at Grand Royal has been great to us (thanks all!). Thanks to everyone that came out to the recent shows in the US, Japan, Europe and the UK. It's great to see so many new friends, especially so many coming to the site from the UK. It was a long, tough trip for everyone, but it was amazing to say the least. Sorry again for cancelling some dates, we hope you understand and hope to make them up soon. The band is at home now (omar and cedric are recording defacto stuff) and resting up for the big tour with the Murder City Devils. All dates will be with them, and the following will join us for certain dates: 400 Blows, Sunshine (from Czech Republic!), International Noise Conspiracy (from Sweden!), Blue Tip, Cursive, and Eastern Youth (from Japan!). Note the album is available on digital download format for you computer junkies. Thanks for your continued support, we won't let you down.
love,
Blaze (for ATDI)

- Albuquerque, Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, San Diego dates cancelled! The band would like to deeply apologize to everyone for cancelling the above cities for the dates of September 9-14. They have hit a wall of sorts and are exhausted from the recent trip that has found them in 3 different continents in the last month and need to rest and prepare for the upcoming tour with the murder city devils. For those of you who have followed the band, you know this is not something they would normally do. However, with the next tour coming so close the band decided that they had no choice but sacrifice these shows so that they could rest and still have time to practice the new songs for the upcoming tour. We will definitely be returning to Salt Lake City and Denver in November, and hopefully San Diego and Las Vegas as well. Again, our deepest apologies...

hey hey. we survived our first asian outing. japan was an absolute blast. their culture is one of the most beautiful things we have experienced in these adventures we have had. the shows were awesome, our japanese crew was great. so, first off a big thanks to everyone who made that happen. we look forward to going back whenever we get the chance. so the website has been up and down and sideways and people are freaking out, we are freaking out. have no fear though, everything is a-o-k. there have been big changes around our camp through the last few months. I am pretty amazed the rumor mill hasn't gotten even more insane than it has yet. those of you who have kept up with den and have been worried since they shut down, thank you for keeping up with us; it makes us feel good. we are ok though and the record is ok, infact we are better off than ever. so heres the story.while we were recording the new record, we got a call from the generals at the den music label and they said we weren't on den anymore. they were shifting over to grand royal with the beastie boys. so we were on grand royal, but there was a lot of things to work out first so we had to keep it hush hush. please check www.grandroyal.com and see our new home. we have met everyone at GR and they rock. mike d from the beasties came to our show at the troub in march and we hung out. he is great, we feel real good about all this stuff. so the new record... we are close to being done with art, the music is finalized.and there will be a single out in july with two songs off the record (and a little bonus). it is a little taste early on, we will do some shows around the u.s. in august.ending up in el paso (home sweet home) on september 12th, the day the record comes out. the single is on GR as well.so look for it in stores or check here. the cover art for the single was done by a great artist, who was responsible for the gasmask we have always used.his name is coro.he is sick good. the album art is by damon, same guy who did the burning airlines split art. he is sick good as well. jason farrell (bluetip) is piecing it all together and it looks good so far. promos on ebay can't be too far off now. haha. we have this month or so off. so we will sleep and rest for july 2nd at oak canyon ranch, go to www.goldenvoice.com for details and tickets to a great festival. hey.thanks for being patient, things are good, we are happy. see you soon. love-jim
