wow, it's been a while since I've cared about this website. Shame on me. Anyways, back to homework...

I woke up this morning like any other day, opened my window, and everything was white. The best part is the campus was closed at 12:30! no class for me! I used my day off to listen to the new Tortoise album, Standards, which was released this past tuesday. This album is sweet. Sweet like apple pie. It's incredible how this band can continue to transcend the same boundaries they've been working with for the past couple of years and still come up with great music. Same instruments, same musicians, same "post-rock" thrill jockyness, but nonetheless ass-kicking music. TNT was an amazing album, and standards continues to carry the amazing album torch for tortoise. In fact, some of the songs sound like they were recorded during the same session as TNT. How many post rock bands can pull that off?.....I give it a 9.

My God!...There is nothing more boring and predictable than two career politicians debating. The psychological malleability of the masses never ceases to amaze me. How can people trust these candidates? How can people actually put their vote on these people, especially Bush? What a moron...."uhh, what was the question?" I can see him now, if elected, speaking to the leader of China..."uuuh, come again? who are you again, man?" I'm sure Jiang Zemin and the rest of the world would have a blast laughing in his face because I sure do....

It's said that people or pictures of people with dilated pupils, psychologically appear more attractive and approachable than with constricted pupils. I have very dark eyes. It looks like I have enormous pupils for eyes, making me appear as sweet and friendly as a powerpuff girl. that would explain why people always talk to me and find themselves shocked when they find out I'm not as friendly as they initially thought I'd be.
