This disk contains pictures and e-mail messages related to 9/11/2001.

At the time, I was employed by Goldman Sachs and had an office facing the South
Tower of the WTC. I was located at One Liberty Plaza on the 33rd Floor.

The pictures contained herein were taken by friends from work who were permitted
access to One Liberty in the days following the tragedy. To my knowledge they
are not copyrighted and have never been published anywhere.  They were freely
copied and circulated among Goldman employees.

The msgs folder contains e-mail messages sent by me or from me related to 9/11.
They were all saved using Microsoft Outlook Express.  My story was published in

as of today, January 12, 2002. It has been at that URL since it was first
published in October, 2001.

Some of the e-mails and probably some that I left out can be found by searching
for my name -- "David Simon Bendory" -- in the "soc.genealogy.jewish" news group.

All e-mails written by me are copyright 2001-2003 David Bendory. Permission is
hereby granted to use this material for research purposes provided that the
content sited is unaltered and that attribution is correctly noted according to
scholarly standards.
