Rants Sanctuary Index About The Sanctuary

Just ordered pizza online for the first time through Papa John's. Oddly enough, they offer to call you BEFORE e-mailing you if the restauarant has a question or needs confirmation on your order. Go figure. On the other hand, I am happy to have found King Missile lyrics at Laundry Lists of Nonsense. And I found out that the lead singer, John S. Hall, has a girlfriend who also maintains a KM page, but she has an address at law.harvard.edu. Hmm.

Nothing dreadfully exciting, but I felt like poking my nose in to say that our adopted soldier's Christmas package is going out later this week and Laurel has her own pair of glasses to chew on. We caved and bought a set of Christmas lights at Big Lots (multicolored, 60' for US$4.00) that I'm going to put up one of these days. We're looking for a menorah and some other holiday decorations to make our window cheerfully multi-faith. Laurel sends her gift of free droolies to everyone!

I've become fond of the Good Housekeeping: Note Generator for helping me get my thoughts in order when writing thank-you notes. Wasn't online much most of November but we've got dialtone here so drop me a line if you need our new phone number. The D'Evelyn site (www.develyn.org) is finally up but it's more of a school-information site than an alumni site. *shrugs* Oh well.... one more thing: since I spaced updating on Laurel's height/weight at 4 months, it was 24 inches (61 cm) and 13 lbs. (5.9 kg). She rolls over now and is starting to teethe. What a time... *shakes head and smiles* At least we have awhile until we have to childproof everything.

D'Evelyn alumni might want to check out the Daivd S. D'Evelyn Class of 2000 Newsletter. (Yes, James mispelled "David.") It's open to alumni from all classes.

Laurel's 4-month well baby checkup is in the morning; will update later with her present length and weight. Hooray.
