To All: Two things are going down. First, I am in the midst of moving to metzger.ws , my new namesake vanity domain.
In the meanwhile, you'll find my weblog in both places. Second, I am also going back to calling it SlidingWithJim , its first name.
You'll be able to read back through the Creative Uses of Explosives in A Controlled Environment as soon as
I finish grep'ing and moving it. Bear with me while the dust settles. - Jim

Well, it is Inauguration Day for the President that we didn't elect. It is also a sad day when we have to bid a fond farewell, not only to President and Senator Clinton and Vice President and Mrs. Gore, but to the First Cat and Dog, Socks and Buddy. If you can remember back to early in the first term, they were constantly in the limelight, sometimes more so than the President. You have a warm feeling every time that you see a video clip of the President returning by helicopter to the South Lawn at the White House, being greeted by Buddy. It makes you remember that the Clintons are human, they are a family, eventhough they live at one of the most prestigious addresses in the world.
