I’ve been crying all night long. There’s too much pain, confusion, worrying, hurt, and blind
hatred. The hatred is what really gets to me. I really don’t like hatred. Our nation wants so
badly to blame someone for what has happened. We've started turning on our own people.
We need to stop as a nation and redirect our feelings. We’re blaming Arab Americans. They
had nothing to do with it! Nor did the Japanese Americans
cause the attack on Pearl Harbor. I don’t want the same thing that happened to the Japanese
Americans to happen to the Arab Americans. They were all forced out of their homes and
taken to “camps” where they were not free. All of their rights were taken away because
America was afraid they were spies. They left their countries to come to America and get away
from the terrorist groups. They came to start over just like all Americans did. I think we're
forgetting what America stands for, what we're all about. Were about a melting pot of all
different nationalities, lifestyles, and races. That's what America is.
Most of the immigrants I have met are so proud and happy to be in America. They
know what it's like to go through tragedy. They went through it every single day. We as a
nation tend to take for granted all that we have been blessed with. All of us need to stand
together no matter your ethnic background. We are all hurting right now and we need to
support each other. We need to wake this sleeping giant and attack those who are really
responsible, Bin Laden and his followers in the Taliban.

Dear Heavenly Father,
First of all I pray for the victims of these terrible events that have taken place. I pray for their families and loved ones. I pray for the possibility that some people may still be alive in the rubble and that they will be rescued as soon as possible. Lord, please give strength to all of the rescue personnel. I pray for our country's leaders, to help them make the right decisions and keep this great country of ours safe. I pray that the people responsible for these actions will be quickly identified, found and adequately punished. I ask all this, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Hey, Everybody!
I just wanted to write and pass on a heartfelt "Thank You" to everyone who showed up at the Hotel Iola last night! What a rush! It was great seeing friendly faces in the audience & didn't we have fun? Pictures of the show will be added to the site perhaps sometime this week, so check back! We hope to be seeing everyone again very soon. By all appearances, we will be returning to the Hotel sometime in July, plus we have other shows in the works.
For those of you who couldn't make it last night--Don't worry! There will be plenty more chances for you to see Last Shot! This is just the beginning of the show...
See you soon!

Hello and welcome to Last Shot's Web Site! Obviously we chose the name "Last Shot" for a band name. This was not one of the band names listed in our band name vote. We either didn't like any of those names or we couldn't agree on any of them. Why "Last Shot"? Well, it could mean several things. One could be that life is short and every day could be your "Last Shot", so make it count. Another meaning could be perhaps a giving up of something or making some sort of change or sacrifice in order to hopefully gain a positive outcome. We had one heck of a time trying to come up with a name for the band. We all had various suggestions and we'd look one up one the Internet and it would be taken. Or one of us would suggest a name and another wouldn't like it. We couldn't agree on anything. So our "Last Shot" at a band name was "Last Shot"! We all pretty much liked that name I guess, so hopefully it will work! This site (as well as our band) is in the beginning stages so please check back every so often to see what's new. Thanks!!!!!
