Hello.
My name is James and I make web pages. Actually I used to mess around with them in high school around 93 or so, then I just kept working on them as a 'hobby' along with chat on IRC. Now with ICQ, AIM, MSN and whatever else people are using, I guess IRC doesn't really matter all that much anymore. It's too bad, too. I met a lot of cool people there. Now it's about trash talking or just making people angry. It sucks sometimes.
I'd like to learn Mandarin someday. Actually I'm studying my 2nd year of Japanese right now, and I like Japanese. I like learning foreign languages in general. A few weeks ago we had some exchange students from Japan in our class. Most of us hadn't really practiced speaking Japanese "in general", but for me I had a good time trying to say things. I'm hoping to go to Japan this summer.
Let's see. I'm a film studies major at UC Irvine, and I'm finishing up my Senior year right now. I love games (PC, console, handheld) quite a bit and checking out blogs and such. What else is there... I'm working on my new site right now, which looks like a downer :) I apparently like using black as a background color.
More later mayhaps.
Yours, James

James. Introduce yourself. Who are you. Enlighten me lol. Don't be a stranger :P
I speak...durr......english, french, VERY BAD MANDARIN. I'm trying to pick latin up.
My mom saw my report card. She wants to remove my head. Failed 6/9 subjects. And I used to be top of the class, able to skip a damn grade. And now I'm the school failure. Blah. My guidance counsellor wants me to pick my career, NOW. I haven't the least idea what I would like to be.
This is an email I sent a friend, talking about career choices..

I finally finished the blog layout :) I LOVE THE GRAPHIC SSSSSOOOO MUCH! When I finished making it, I just stared at it for like 20 minutes and then started screaming. I was like, "Jason, get your ass over here! LOOKIE!" He came over, pretending to look all bored and stuff, looked at it and then said, "You made me get up just to show me that??? I've seem tons of your graphics, I don't need to see anymore." Some brother! Hehe :)

Hmmm... I think blogvoices is slowing down this page. Jeez, I have to wait a minute for this thing all to load and it usually only takes a couple seconds for me...

My friend Andrea came with her brother. We just sat and talked and talked for like an hour and didn't even know it. I dunno, maybe I should take Spanish. Most people are taking Spanish right now. *sigh* It's always 50/50 :( Her brother and my brother played some games on the computer, Starcraft and Rage. I'm still working on my new blog layout. There's like 30 layers right now, hehe...

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of, James! I'm trying to decide on a foreign language and I since I'm going to be taking it for 4 years and paying for it, I'd like to enjoy learning it and I'm hoping it'll be worth it. I can't take both French and Spanish! I was hoping they'll have Japanese because that's what I really want to learn. I don't even care if nobody else speaks Japanese. I just LUV the language, but they don't teach it here :( So I'll have to choose either French or Spanish. Before, I always knew exactually what I want. But now when I have to choose my classes, it's much more difficult because I want to learn and take everything, but obviously, I can't. I'd like to take some art and computer class, but I'd also like to take others that I enjoy doing, like food, writing, and I kinda wanna take gym, hehe. But I can't :( Then I had it all figured out and was happy with my decision, but I found out that I don't have to take math or science in 11th and 12th grade, but I want and need to take calculus and physics, and those two will take up one or two years, meaning I have to take out food, writing, speech, etc :( Not fair!!! I'm listening to Monica, Just Another Girl. I love that song!!!

Emily,
Lately I've felt like a big procrastinator.
Let me explain myself. I'm a fifth year senior in college (SuperSenior, yeah baby yeah). Blame it on me for changing my major twice to find out what I like the most. Hey, at least I took the extra year to be comfortable in college. I don't know about you but when I changed my major, I felt really bad. Like a failure. Like I couldn't live up to my own expectations or challenges.
Anyway, now it's the fifth year and I'm just burnt out. It's a good thing I'm taking Japanese (my favorite class, probably next quarter too). For me, five years of short and long term papers is enough.
I'm listening to Coldplay's "Don't Panic". It be looped in Winamp.

Tracy, yeah, I know! What happened to intoxicated??? The forum there is like DEAD! Do you still post at that korn forum? Yeah, I think I'm gonna take French. I remember when I talked to you on the phone, you were speaking French and I was like, "Uh... what?" Hehe. Maybe next time we talk, I'll be able to understand like 1/4 of what your saying :) James, your welcome. And yeah, you should because I don't see you everyday and I always miss talking to you :)
