the a-man asked me an interesting question this morning: what would you rather have... a depeche mode concert or sex. and *no* you can't say "sex at a DM concert". - btw, if you pick DM-you can't have sex till they come to town again. what the hell kind of question is that my friend?? are you trying to make me feel bad since i'm not getting either one right now?? heh, just kidding. we always have these kinds of talks, which is actually pretty cool. ours are just not as gross as the ones in (one of my favorite movies) SIMAAM. so i suppose you want to know what my answer was. well here it is, verbatim:
i would really really love a dm concert, but it would depend on where i got to sit, if i got to meet them afterwards, etc etc. if it didn't include those things i would probably have to say sex, since i wouldn't want to go without it for a year or more just for an ordinary concert. but i might consider remaining celibate for awhile if it meant i got to meet all three of them :p
so what about you? would you take your favorite band over sex or vice versa? why? bare your souls to me my children!!
oh and btw... if you're a fan of the movie above, this is just for you :)

i hate mondays. especially this one. someone needs to invent an alarm clock that warns you when you shouldn't get out of bad that day. i would pay good money for it.

there's just never enough time. as soon as it starts, the weekend is over and i'm left wondering what happened to those precious 48 hours i had just a short while ago. this week has been a crazy one. it's amazing how your world can change in an instant. i was reminded though, just how important certain things are.

i don't think i'm alone in feeling that the past few days have been tremendously sad and weird. we all deal with stress in different ways, although i happen to be someone who really shows it. i've had a really hard time coming to terms with what has happened, and with how it affects me personally. i decided it was time to get some human interaction and try to de-stress a little. so i met mike from san diego at gordon biersch tonight to have some drinks. i hadn't met mike before, but he is a great guy, and a lot of fun to hang out with. if he didn't have to be at work so early tomorrow morning i'm sure we would have gone dancing and worn the night out a little. the conversation and the chance to just relax was very welcome, so thank you :) on my way home the church's under the milky way was playing and everything seemed to fall into place. we're never quite sure of where we're going, but we'll be led there, despite our destination...

i don't really know what to say. today has been an unbelievable day and i am still taking it all in. i pray for all those who have lost loved ones, and and i pray for our future. please find someone close to you to hug, and remember how important love is, and that we must be strong to overcome this tragedy. peace and love to you all. and give blood.

there's nothing like waking up fairly early on a saturday morning and blaring great dance music, sipping a yummy raspberry mocha, and taking a walk around beautiful kiwanis park before it gets to 110 degrees outside. this is the first saturday in quite awhile where i haven't woken up feeling the after effects of a raucous friday night. it's amazing how a restful night's sleep and a productive caffeine buzz will make you feel like tackling the world. the thoughts that run through your head are also cool. i was just remembering a conversation i had with jeremiah where we were discussing the first album we ever bought. it's funny, but i wonder how many other children of the 80's bought thriller and not only played the crap out of it, but also memorized every line, every "oooo", "hee hee" and "sha-mone". hmm. anyway, today is not a day to spend sitting on my arse reminiscing. i'm going to make the most out of this high and work my little arse off in the gym, do some homework, and hopefully buy a table. oh, and maybe do a little partying tonight if i can find someone to adventure with me.
