Football commentators occasionally say things like, "That ball was always going wide". Why should it be otherwise so? Unless there is a new force acting to accelerate a mass in a different direction then its trajectory is inevitable. But sometimes, I wonder if it really was always going wide. Always? Even before it had left the player's boot? I don't know. Certainly anybody watching the incident wasn't aware of its prior inevitability. But once that event has occurred, it becomes history. And then, we can only look back, realising the action can't be undone. Things have changed.

This morning I was visited by a man selling tea. Being a tea-lover and feeling generous, I didn't treat him like your run-of-the-mill door to door salesman: I took the time to humour him. He was actually quite a nice bloke. Even so, I refused to buy anything there and then. Instead, I insisted that he should give me a leaflet and that I would contact him when I had read it. And off he went.
A little later today I was visited by a hypnotherapist. He's been here since, I can remember very little of our conversation and I have drunk approximately 6 cups of tea. I'm not sure if I can explain it either.

We acquired a zen garden today.
So, finally, I got around to doing something with my photographs from my time spent overseas. Travel Pics has a selection. Unfortunately, they're all quite heavy and take ages to load. As such, I haven't bothered to upload all the larger ones. I'll do something about it in due course...
