:: Reading, Books Started or Completed ::

5.7.2001
I've cracked open a few books lately, mostly for travel preparation. I have a "Virgin Guide to Amsterdam" and a "Must-See South Africa" book that I'm almost through with. Lots of good info in both of them. During the trip, though, for leasure reading I'm finally going to get to my copy of The Woman's Room.

Up to my 3rd PHP book, though this one is more of a reference.

Hey, I finished that 2nd PHP book (see below). I'm not ready to dive into another one. I have enough "book knowledge" about it, now I need to build my practical knowledge of actually programming in that language. As usually, the most useful things in life cannot be taught in a book. As a side note, I just ordered John Updike's Rabbit Run, but who knows when I'll have a chance to get to it?

I'm now on my 2nd PHP4 book. It's a Web development programming language to create dynamic pages and robust database integration. ...doesn't that sound fun!!!
