I came to the office at four p.m. yesterday and have been sitting here since then, except for the two hours I went two the Crazy Cucarachas Party last night. I demonstrated my enormous selv-discipline by leaving the party after a couple of beers to go back to work. Having been awake for almost twenty hours, I'm not thinking quiet clear, so I guess I'll go home. My head isn't producing anything sensible anymore... By the way - I received some new pictures today. I got the rest of the Oslo Weekend pictures and a lot of good pictures from the Dimitri-party, and Barefoot. Most of those will be available here sometimes in the near future, i.e. when I get time. Well, now I'm falling to sleep in the middle of sentences, and the words are all coming out wrong... - I guess that's a sign that I should get in bed. Just hope I will make it home. Later |

Just finished updating the pages for the Department of Forest Sciences.... so what do I do now? I don't know - I probably should be going home to sleep, but maybe I'll find som more work to do, since I'm warm.... ...or maybe I'll just surf on the net for a while and then go home. We'll see.... |

Well it's been quite a long time since my last blog - been busy working for IAESTE and doing various other things. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I just updated the summer program page. The newest information about Stavanger Weekend is now available, and I added a link to "Robert Burke's Excellent Norwegian Escapades". Robert Burke was a trainee in Tromsų last summer and on this page you can read all about his adventures in Norway. There's a lot of good pictures too. I can also tell you that I'm expecting my pictures from Oslo Weekend soon and I'm planning to make those available here as soon as I get them. Well at least some of them... |

Gee, I'm glad I'm not a librarian! I have been relieving in the mailroom at the university library one or two hours a day for a few days now - a job that has given me a bit of an insight into the life of the librarian. The thought of spending the whole day sorting and categorizing books, five days a week, gives me a cold sweat. And the screaming quietness... It's just all too much. So it's monday once again. After a rather unexciting weekend in Aas I had an even less exciting day at work. I also started my Reception Officer periode today, and I've been spending the last hours waiting for a phone call from the first trainee. Unfortunately he missed the plane he was supposed to be on, so his late. But he called me just now, so I'm meeting him at the trainstation in about twenty minutes. I probably should be at home preparing a dinner for the poor guy, who has been travelling for I don't know how long, and must be hungry and tired. But I'm not! Instead, I'm writing my weblog - that's the kinda guy I am.... Yeah - I'm a real bastard.... |

Since it's getting quite late, this will be short. I managed to do nothing to my homepage today, instead I went to work. I have been working with the design of a new page for the Food Research Programme since five o'clock today, and I'm beginning to get a bit tired. Actually I was planning to go visit IAESTE's stam pub, Thorshammer, in Oslo tonight, but I was having so much fun at work, that I couldn't leave. There will be other opportunities to drink beer later (I hope). |
