Ok, 2 new pics on the pics page.
1 is my desk, less than 1 week after putting it together.
(yes, I'm a slob)
The other is the inside of my comp because people didn't believe
that I had a bunch of legos(tm) holding a harddrive in place.
Wow...
3 weeks between posts?
I'll TRY to update more often.
Hacksaw's Tech Support
Rea Life(tm) spewage from a Real Life(tm) BurntOut(tm) Techie.
This guy is a regular on my IRC channel, and the stuff he posts on his website is so funny it will bring tears to your eyes...Old ladies swearing their cablemodem gave their cat cancer...
Drunks needing tech support...
And more.
I haven't said anything in 3 days.
Then again I haven't had anything to say.
Well, first Coolboard went down.
Then they came back.
Then Blogger went down.
Then they came back...THEN the shell that this website is on exploded.
It was fun... no home directory, the mud I code for was
gone, there was nothing...All is good today, let's hope it stays this way.
Hey!
It's 2001! Where's my Space Oddessy?
Ok, It's official.Happy New Year!
Yay.
Well, it's New Years Eve. I'm sober, and I'm staying that way.
(Not a big challenge since I haven't had a drink in YEARS anyway)
Any resolutions?
I resolve to live through another year.
Enough said, enjoy whatever festivities you are or are not taking part in.
VistaPrint.com - Business Card Printing, Letterhead, Envelopes, Stationery, Invitations, Paper and More!
Free business cards? Don't know if they;re any good, haven't had
time to check these out... but what the heck, free is good, right?
[ =) ]
It's the eve of Xmas eve... And I have to wonder. Did you do all your shopping?
Will you be running to the malls tomorrow, fighting the crowds?
Did you have your armor polished and your swords sharpened? ;)Or did you get it all done early, and all that is left is the wrapping?
But wait! Who did I buy THIS gift for?
And where is that thing I bought for Uncle Bob?Or are you like me, poor and without the Xmas spirit? (Although being pagan I have a reason ;) )
Enjoy your air folks, I probably won't be rambling much for the next two days...Happy (whatever holiday you celebrate)!
People seem to be getting the wrong impression lately about the AntiScript forum...
I'm seeing if it is worth it to release a new script WHEN and IF I ever finish work on one.
My current personal script has very little, and I only add to it when the feeling is right...
Some of you seem to think that I plan to release a new script soon, and this couldn't be further
from the truth... in fact it will probably be MONTHS (if ever) until I release a new version.
What the forum is for is simple: If you liked the old script tell me, and tell me what it is you liked
about it... that way if I do release a new script it will have the features people liked in the old one.
*Sigh*
Another day closer to Xmas, and what do I have for you?
Your very own handful of air! Grab it fast before it floats away...Seems Coolboard.com is puking alot again, Lan tried posting a note to the forum today
and it vanished like that air I just gave you all... damnit.Anyone know a more stable (and free) web-based message board?
Drop me an email and let me know the URL...
Yup, messed with the settings again.
Maybe this looks better.
Maybe I'll just keep screwing with it until it breaks... ;)
Seems that coolboard found (and fixed) their problems. AntiScript forum has reopened.
And an update from that forum:
7 votes, 6 for a new AntiScript.
(the 7th was my test vote for "wtf is antiscript?")
BUT... of those 6 votes only 3 people have posted notes saying WHY they would like to see a new version, and even those are weak reason ("because I like it" type votes). I need to know WHY you people liked the old script! Was it the ip search? The NC setup? What functions of the script did you like? What didn't you like?
Without knowing the answers to these questions it's a bit hard to put into the new version what people liked.
Well... I decide to hold a forum an the future of Anscript...and what happens?
Coolboard.com goes bonkers, and all boards are inaccessable.
*Sigh*
Hopefully it will come back soon.
Well, it looks like I may release another public version of AntiScript someday...
It all depends on the feedbac on my AntiScript forum(see side bar).I've also dropped the bounce from my site, so the Namzero banner is back.
It's better this way though, because if I move the site you'll never have to go
looking for it... It will always be "here" at antisanity.org.
This is just a spot for my random ramblings...
Don't expect much here too often.
Thanx to Lan for the pointer to blogger!
