Replaced the usual morning coffee with green tea today. The body's been telling me to give it up, the java, that is. Hope I stay awake.

New office space this week, which means a new spectacular view. So now I look west: I see Market Street as it dissects the city toward Twin Peaks; I see the dingy, tan, mid-sized structures that flow toward Ocean Beach; I see banks of fog that threaten our sunny days; and, on a clear day, I see traffic cruising north over the Golden Gate Bridge. Not bad.

My green tea is cool now.

Cool, windy night in the upper reaches of PacBell Park last night. PBP is San Francisco's beautiful new ball park. Weird thing is -- new stadiums draw non-fans to games. I mean, it's a great place to spend the evening, but I'm there to watch a baseball game. The Giants kicked ass, though. Somebody hit a grand slam to put it away. I'll be at Fenway Park at this time next Wednesday night, hanging out with the Honey.

MUNI, San Francisco's infamous public transit system, is always a frustrating experience. This morning, the only open seat on the J-Church had been spat upon, repeatedly. Staring at some idiot's spit on a bus seat is not my ideal way to start the day.

I predicted an earthquake. The roommate reported this morning that a bit of a rumbler hit the Bay Area as I slept. Can't believe I missed it.

Adobe GoLive is pissing me off. Does the word "intuitive" mean anything? Why can't it be more like Quark? I'm doomed.

I dreamed of web pages last night. Somebody shoot me. Hazy gray day from the 37th floor. The SF Bay looks industrial today, as if those tankers mean business. The smoke stacks are silent -- both of them.

Yesterday seemed like "earthquake weather" -- weirdly hot with no wind. We are overdue.

I'm going to bed. The dog is starting to hate me over this.

You know, I wouldn't say that I'm a genius, but I'm not dumb either.

Back to the grind today. From my window I see:

PacBell Park
All of South San Francisco
A chunk of the SF Bay, complete with barges
Highways heading south

Without this window, work work be unbareable.
