MagicBullets - Ever get one of those e-mail messages from a friend that has been forwarded about a dozen times and has all those ">" in front of the lines and the lines are all broken up in strange places? Well, with MagicBullets installed, just select that mangled text, hit Command-Shift-C to copy it to the clipboard and MagicBullets will intercept it, clean up the leading ">" characters, rewrap the text and even add a tag line if you want all in one fell swoop. It's a little old but seems to work just fine on my system (G3 running MacOS 9.1) 2/22/2001

StuffCM - Once again, from their web page "StuffCM is a contextual menu plugin that works with Aladdin Systems' StuffIt Engine. It can Stuff, UnStuff, and BinHex files directly in the Finder through the contextual menu commands." Makes stuffing and unstuffing files trivial. Control-click, select, stuff! 5/3/2000

Power Windows - Right from their web page "Power Windows is a small control panel that lets you drag the entire contents of windows instead of just a dotted outline." A subtle thing indeed but once you get used to it, you absolutely hate not having it. It also has a neat 'fade in' mode that makes windows fade in and out instead of just appearing. 4/27/2000

Smart Scroll - Have you noticed that the scroll bars in the Finder are now proportional to the size of the content of the window? Nice aren't they. They would be nice in other programs too. Also, do you ever wish you could get that double arrow arrangement at both ends of the scroll bar instead of just one end? Look no further. Smart Scroll does both! 4/20/2000

Default Folder - Open/Save Dialog Box enhancer. Adds things like a recently accessed folders menu. Display of how much disk space is available on all your volumes. Creation of new floders. And direct access to folders by simply clicking on the visible portion of the window. 3/7/2000
Renamer2 - Have you ever wanted to add ".TXT" to the end of 100 files? How about converting all the spaces in the names of a bunch of HTML files to underscores? Well, search no longer! Renamer 2.0 is here! (Ok, I wrote it and this is a shameless plug. Can you blame me?) 3/7/2000
