9/26/2000 10:47 PM Opps, deadline for part A was the 15th. Part B is October 1st. Hey, I'm human, I ain't perfect! 9/26/2000 10:16 PM Am I funny? Do I really have a sense of humor? The webmaster of Bust A Move Global thought so with the caption I sent in for the September Caption Contest (part A). To see what I sent in, click here. I've also entered captions for part B, but I hope someone else wins, even though she said their better then the one's I sent in last time. She's even said that on her page, but still I don't think I'm that good. If I do win part B of this month, then I think I'll hold out on October part A. 2 times is nice, but 3 times in a row for me would be too much. If you think you can do better (and I hope you can), go to Bust A Move Global and goto the Captions page. Deadline for September part A is October 1st. Yes, I know it's a fan site to Bust A Groove. I do actualy like the game, I actualy have both US versions, the soundtrack to the first one, as well as the oversized Bust A Groove store display box which 989 Studios made. I think I may make a fan site of my own, but I don't think it would be any good at all. Then again, [CENSORED] it, I'll come up with something. Later... 8/21/2000 1:45 PM I uess I could touch base on what games I'm rippin' up and taking the hurt to. Strider 2 An excelent 2D/3D game that takes Strider Hiryu through some well done levels with his sword, Cypher, and a bunch of wall climbing tools. It comes with Strider 1 as well which may cause flashbacks to the days of the older systems, but can unlock a hidden level in the Strider 2 game disk. The biggest goof up I see in the game, other then the voice acting in Strider 1, is that the game disks are mis-labled. Strider 1 is on the disk marked Strider 2, and the other way around. Then again, I don't know if it's just me. The Misadventures of Tron Bonne If you didn't know, Tron Bonne is Mega Man's rival from Mega Man Legends (which MML2 as well as MML for the PC are coming out soon). In this game you play Tron who has to get enough cash to bail out her brothers, Teisel and Bon Bonne, with the help of her 40 Servbots. There's a total of 7 missions in the game and each of them have 3 missions in them except for 2 of them. To add on top of that, you have to develop your Servbot's skills in order to unlock extre things that you'll be able to do. The only thing I don't really like about this hame is the fact that once all 3 missions at one location is done, you can't go back to get whatever you missed. Other then that, the graphics are dose the same way as (and a bit better then) Mega Man Legends and comes with a demo of Mega Man Legends 2. Chrono Cross Ok, this is a change. 20 Years after the events of Chrono Trigger, a kid ends up stumbling across another time line in which was that same world and all except for the fact that the kid died 10 years ago. Now teaming up with who ever joins him, he travels both worlds and keeping his [CENSORED] alive. I just started playing this game, and I can already tell you that it's not going to be one of those things which your going to finish it in less then a day. Knowing Squaresoft, there's also more to the story then just jumping back and forth between the two timelines as well. They pulled out the stops on Chrono Trigger, so I'm guessing this game will end up if not better then Chrono Trigger, maybe even Xenogears (still a personal fav of mine). With music and graphics that are very well done, I'm wishing Squaresoft released the PSX Chrono Trigger state-side. Oh well, I got the SNES cart so I guess I'm safe. 8/12/2000 9:19AM About two days ago I ended up getting the RPG called Rhapsody for the Playstation. It's a musical adventure that's the clasic case of a love struck person saving royality. Only thing this time around is that your the girl saving the prince. That's just fine but the only thing I want to know is why almost all the bad guys female? You have a person named Myao who's a cross between a witch and a cat and really acts like one as well. Then you have Gao who's a cross between a human and a dog, which is fitting because she looks more like a he than a she. You also have someone named Crowdia who's a cross between a human and a crow. She has a pet crow as well and would be a total nightmare if only she was in a diffrent game. Then you have a... whatever named Marjoly who's... sorry to say, but a cluts in skimpy clothing and can't even undo one of her own spells (and she's the leader of them all). You also have a total snob named Etoile which you just wish you could open a can of whoop-@$$ on. She helps you out in the end, even though she stays a total snob. There's only one male bad guy in the game that I can think of and that's Golonzo, an old dried up stupid looking mother [CENSORED] which nobody likes even though he's a minister. Other then that, the game has nicely done 2D graphics and music that would fit well with a Disney movie. Not only that, but almost everything in the game would fit a Disney movie. Candy attacks, living puppets, smashing pancakes, and a horn that grants wishes. My only wish is that Disney dosen't make a movie of this game because they've been known to butch things up. Example, Hunchback of Noter Dame was orignaly a sadder and darker story when Disney adds bright colors and bad jokes. Rhapsody also comes with it's own CD soundtrack which maybe nice if you like it's music, but works well as a coster if you don't. Personaly, I like the game but some touch-up's may be nice. 7/29/2000 5:46PM To the people of the Internet, there's now a new terror on the road. Beleave it or not, I went for a drive test and I passed. Then I went to the DMV (or BMV) and got my drivers license. Then I went to a video game store and got myself a job. Needless to say, be carefull around any white Toyota vans because that may be me behind the wheel. So far I've done ok. What I meen by that is that I haven't caused any wrecks yet. I've haven't been pulled over yet ether, but I've been able to give others what they call road rage. As for that car I saw when I went to the store, nice parking space, next time try useing 1 instead of 3. 7/13/2000 7:26 PM This is just one of those days that I didn't want to wake up, but I did so I could drive some people around. Spending most of my day going from point A to point B, picking people up, dropping them off, and driving off of buildings. Yes, I drove off of a parking garage on to a building and back onto the street, stopping in front of a store to drop someone off. Another time I jumped the car off of a bridge that was half way up on to the top of a smaller building on the other side and off the other side of the building, just so I wouldn't have to go around. I also launched the car into the air and over busses, trucks, other cars, and cable cars while going downhill, just so I wouldn't crash into them. Was all of this legal, I donno. I've never got pulled over for playing the video game Crazy Taxi before so I guess not. Just from reading that, you now know that I did nothing today but play video games and type this out and post it on the internet. If you think I would really drive a car off of a building, then I feel sorry for you. Nothing personal, but it was only a game. In real life, I hardly ever break the speed limit 5 or 6 miles per hour over whatever's posted. Is this post needed? Maybe not, but then again, who would really read this? Sorry, but I just wanna know. 7/12/2000 3:20 PM May I have your attention please. May I have your attention please. Will a few choice people please grow a brain. I repeat, will a few choice people please grow a brain. For example, the AOL member that just sent me an IM a few moments ago asking for my screen name and password, saying they were from AOL. It is clearly marked on each IM "AOL will never ask you for your password or billing information". To the jurks that send spam, no body likes the real thing so why do you think they want all of that e-mail? To that guy at the McDonnalds, fries come with the value meals so you don't have to ask "do you want fries with that". And last but not least, to that 7up guy. Get a clue and come up with something other then "make 7 up yours". Site powered by Blogger™ |
