Hi, we're still here!Yes, still here! As you may have noticed, the forums have been broken for a while. Which sort of ruins the 'community' a bit, but we're just waiting for it to come back online. Hopefully the guy who runs the server will contact us soon to tell us it's fixed!Wednesday, July 18, 2001
Photos are up!Sorry for the delay - I've been incredibly busy. Just a handfull of my pics from the FlashLAN at the end of June - find them in the usual place, "Past Events". Enjoy! If you have any photos to share, please post them in the forums.Monday, July 02, 2001
Thank you everyone! We had a good LAN - thanks to everyone for bring a good atmosphere along - hopefully our next lan will be able to live up to this one :) (pics are turning up in the forums...) We have scouts out now, even as we speak... er... even as you read... looking for our next venue, which is tipped to either be in the Guildford area, or possibly Brighton-way. Leave your comments in the forums! DjArcas Friday, June 29, 2001
Last Minute StuffHi guys. You've come here to see if there's any last minute stuff before you set off. Well, just a couple of things:1) The LAN starts at 6pm, (not 5pm, so Chief is in for a bit of a wait. Silly Chief). 2) LOOK AT A MAP. You will have a *lot* of trouble finding Wymering road without one. If you find Chichester road you are 90% of the way there. Anyone telling me the place was too hard to find will see me put my fingers in my ears and go "la la la laaa". Click here to buy a clue. If you get stuck, try me on 07941 218 201, but I will probably be able to tell you nothing. I have the navigational skills of a blindfolded gerbil in a rotating maze. If you ask me for directional help, you will end up either in (a) Liverpool or (b) the ocean. However, if DocFear is nearby I will put you on to him :) SEE YOU THERE! WEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeEEE! FlashLAN just keeps getting cheaperWow - signup is going great. (Not that I ever worry about these things.. ..honest). At time of writing, total number of gamers stands at 24. Now let's say there are 18 paying guests at this LAN, as explained before that'll make the cost £283 / 18 = £15.72 per head. No promises though - just to say that the more people that come, the less it costs you - so help by spreading the word!Just to repeat - £20 is the maximum we will ask for at the event, and the way things are going it's likely to be substantially less. | |||||
