Do you sing in the shower? Do you think youself a better shower singer than choir member? Well...I certainly do. And did. You see, as I have a test tomorrow, i'm staying up late to "study," but I got really rancid at about 2:30 and hopped in the shower. See, normally, I'd be quiet, but since my roommate is in the midst of a secret process, she's been elsewhere at night for the past week, and it's not supposed to stop until friday night or so. This all adds up to 4am mid-room dances with loud music and singing at the top of my lungs.... ...which brings me back to the shower, since i *was* singing songs at the top of my lungs. Over and over again. With different accents. So imagine my extreme embarassment when I come out of the bathroom singing a British rendition of "Take Me Out To the Ball Game" very loudly...only to find my roommate asleep in her bed. 4.25.2001
Do you ever fear crazed rabid stalker-like fans? I mean, seriously, you have to be pretty obsessed to recognize some of the people on this list. Blog of the moment: Zowie. Sorry, Erin, I meant to keep you up longer, seeing as this category is far from regular, but can you honestly blame me? 4.24.2001
You don't know how truly wonderful 128MB of RAM feels until you've had something decidedly less than that on the same system and upgraded.
Col. Sanders: Sir, we've never gone that fast before! I don't think this ship can take it! Dark Helmet: What's the matter, Colonel Sanders? Chicken?
Blog of the...uh...until next i declare one:Erin, because I feel her X-Files pain. Following in my movie thread of late, I finally just broke down and bought Frequency on DeeVeeDee today, in addition to Spaceballs on tape. I rounded out my movie rental watching with Bedazzled last night and Remember the Titans tonight. CAN I RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT THIS MOVIE?! No. never. This is a caliber of film I rarely see, as far as message and moral goes. It's a friggin' *football* movie and I was crying by the end of it. I haven't done that since Rudy, and certainly not as much as i just did. Don't listen to me explain it to you. Just go watch the movie. Go watch *all* these movies. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. Or do, if need be. Rob a bank, or a video store. Just go see them. 4.23.2001

I think there might be something wrong with someone who walks into their deserted room with three videos and a DeeVeeDee in one arm and chinese take-out in the other, then proceeds to spend the remainder of her birthday night watching Dennis Quaid and Elizabeth Mitchell in Frequency, then watch the entirety of the new Dune, and eating said chinese food. 4.20.2001

There's a whole new countdown loomin' round the bend. I'm pulling a Rocky right now and, just like my aforementioned bud from class, ticking off the seconds until one of the biggest moments of my college career winds itself up and waits for me to turn that crank one last time... pop goes the weasel. seventeen and a half more rotations to go. |
