DevX.com has an interesting article on why ASP should use an OLEDB connection instead of a humble ODBC DSN(less) connection.
Turns out that ADO makes OLEDB calls, which in turn calls an OLEDB provider for ODBC, which in turn makes ODBC calls that
finally accesses the database. Apparently, you can expect up to 30% speed improvement if you switch to making an OLEDB connection. Oh well...
