A Daily Dose
I can sympathize with people's pains but not with their pleasures. There is something curiously boring about somebody else's happiness." - Aldous Huxley

"How can she look into my eyes and still she don't believe me?" Good ol' J. Masic on the jukebox singing an old Smiths song. This wednesday I'll be seeing Alex Chilton, called an "indie rock god" by the Philadelphia Inquirer. Which of course is true. Should be a good time with the wifey, couple friends from work and some potentials . . . haven't been to a show since, well, let me think about this one . . . hmm . . . it was P-Funk and the all-stars down at Penn's Landing with the whole family. I remember Abby on my shoulders and Emma dancing and singing "We got da funk!" all night, even in the car on the ride home. that was fun. Kate and I drank a couple overpriced pina coladas that went down easy on that hot summer night in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love.

10:03 on my Festina watch that was a gift from my parents after their Caribbean cruise, 9:54 on the laptop I just recently paid off and is running a 120 mhz processor on a silly slow 28.8 dial up. I do have a T1 at work, so I got that going for me, which is nice.
