An appropriate quote I ran across yesterday from John Donne:
No man is an Island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankind; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee.

Amazon has set up a link to make donations to the Red Cross easy. It's a way to do something for our brothers and sisters in New York.

Guy sent me the text of this article and I found it on the Miami Herald website.

I got this today from Guy and posted it to our Haiku page. If you have anything you would like me to add send it to me. It doesn't have to be haiku, it does have to be some kind of poetry though. Let's start the healing process...
Debris, smoke, bodies. Symbols of power destroyed. Tears well in my eyes.

anger, sadness, disbelief, rage, frustration, revenge... This photo was taken today by a friend of Ed's, Somsara Rielly who lives close to what was the World Trade Center.

Okay...I started this a while ago with the prodding of Joe and have had a couple of submissions from a few hearty souls. It's our attempt at some Haiku. Please if you want to have me post something, send me an E-mail and I'll show you how it is done. And only constructive criticism please. I can't vouch for the others, but I have a fragile ego.

Hey everyone! Thanks for making Conrad's 1st birthday such a success. We had a great time! I'll probably be posting pictures all week of the festivities. If you have any good pictures send me copies so I can share them with the masses.

Poor Kermit. Before Conrad came into our home, he was the baby and afforded all the associated privileges. Alas no more...

Heh...i'd pay to see this show. This guy can make a 300 foot inverted tornado that he then lights on fire. The tail whips around at over 300 MPH. Did I mention it was on fire?. Yep. I'd pay to see that.
