Friday, February 16, 2001I know, I know, I don't for forever, and then when I do it's a public service announcement. I saw this link on Metafilter, and it's The Web Standards Project: Fighting for Standards in our Browsers. This is a push to get people to upgrade their browsers to the most stable recent version, which better supports HTML 4.0 and stylesheets. I'm in complete agreement with them - of all the things to take a stand on because of your principles, why web browsers? Go picket a prison or something.

Needless to say, although Blogger is supposed to be staying around, I'll be backing up my files and keeping my eye out for another solution for the 5 or so blogs that I'm involved with.
Thursday, January 18, 2001Hey gang! Just wanted to let you all know that I'll be appearing on a panel on the television show The Chatroom on TalkTV tonight at about 8 PM! The show is hosted by 4 very cool 20-somethings, including Jennifer Hollett, who runs a site on the Moxie network called oneofthose.com. I had the opportunity to meet Jenn (as well as renew friendships and make new ones with some other great gals) at a brunch in Toronto last Sunday. The subject of tonight's discussion is online ettiquette - if you have something to say on the subject, head to the Chatroom chat website and join in the live chat tonight!
