Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes
Earlier today I asked how Tuesdays attacks would affect American civilization and this afternoon I found a few answers.This is what happens now: Compasion Branding™, commentary, policy changes, old men pretending to make effective decisions, rethinking every step of the way and more commentary. For good or bad, that depends on your own point of view. I just wish God would get here already.
So what happens now?
I'm still not sure I am fully comprehending what has taken place. As a student of history, I always wondered what it would be like to be a witness to events of World War 2, the Hindenburg distaster, or the Titanic sinking. To see an event so inconprehensible that surely it couldn't be happening now, but somehow is, I still don't know if I fully understand what has happened.If for some reason you just haven't been around the web lately, Amazon has set up an easy way to contribute to the American Red Cross. Summer reading
Two really good books have been published recently: Design for Community by Derek Powazek and Web Redesign | Workflow for the Real World by Kelly Goto and Emily Cotler. In both cases, the authors have a lot of expereience with the topics they write about (which is more than can be said for half of the Internet related books about there) and they have gone the distance to create and maintain great web sites to support their books.On a side note, my copy of Mapping Web Sites fell apart at the binding shortly after I bought it. So I sent an email to the CEO of the company and two weeks later a new book was delivered to my door.

Brainfreeze
I just read about the official title for the next episode of Star Wars, now called Attack of the Clones. George, at least you could come up with something as poetic as Plan 9 from Outter Space or Soillent Green or Ben Obi-Wan Grows A Beard.
